THE RUMOR CHART IS LIVE!

Rumor chart updates coming, team previews starting, but the most important news today is..... According to Clayton Keller, the Utah Hockey team is likely to be called The Utah Yeti!

I love it! As a big fan of cryptozoology, I'm believe this current trend to name teams after Cryptids Rocks!

First we had the Seattle Kraken....although the debate in the cryptozoology world continues as to whether or not the old mythical "Kraken" actually are the same creature as the more recently discovered..and fully existing...The Giant Squid. I am totally on the side that they ARE NOT the same animal because Giant Squids live deep, deep in the ocean while Krake...according to old paintings..attack boats at the surface...duh...

Let's start again. First we had The Seattle Kraken, and now we apparently have The Utah Yeti!.. Yes, The YETI! Another animal that is most probably a Cryptid!.... Unless you believe the the skull discovered by the Himalayan monks is in fact real..or the many trucks found and casted are real this animal is like legend.. I'm not sure, but I'm going with the fact that the Yeti is indeed a Cryptid like the Kraken!

So I love the trend and I love this name. I also love it because it is the shortest name in hockey… Only eight letters and I'm gonna have to type them out a lot...shame on you Philadelphia...

But the big question on everyone's mind is "Do you, HockeyBuzzards, like this name?"

I'll be back with updates this morning. And I'll add it to this blog
