Ansar Khan listed the lineup:

Talbot is slated to go the full 60, and if the pairings are correct we’re going to see Seider with Edvinsson. Larkin will center the two right shot wingers again, and the 2nd line will roll Tarasenko, Kasper and Kane. It looks like tonight’s top 6 is giving Kasper a chance to work with some NHL veterans and must feel like a very unique opportunity. Kasper has played hard in the post season so this is a nice twist. The top 6 is very close to what has been slated to start the season.

As for the blue line, a lot of fans want to see Mo and Eddy hit the ice together and how that pans out. Seider is a shot blocking machine at times and can help steady Edvinsson. We’ll see how the contest pans out with 3 straight nights of play kicking off.

A quick note, Bally’s Finale for MLB?
Bally dropped a bit of a surprise as it seeks to leave the MLB completely save for the Atlanta market. The Tigers are giving fans a lot to like right now, but have now found out that Diamond (Bally technically doesn’t exist now, Diamond just took the name) is looking to drop the club’s rights as they struggle in the 8b lawsuit.

The very good news is that MLB has (from some accounts) finished their incumbent service and want to have a league run platform to replace most RSNs. The not great news is waiting to hear what comes next in terms of the NHL. The broadcast deal will be coming up for renewal/renegotiation.

Amazon gets NHL “RedZone?”
Amazon is piloting a Thursday program that will switch between multiple games. Unlike NFL RedZone, there isn’t a 20 yard line marker to set for scoring. This pilot may be the first step in the streamer looking to get broadcasting rights going forward. NBC wants more sports again and outbid TNT for their NBA package earlier this year. TNT can’t afford to go against them, so they’re looking to challenge Amazon’s outbid as the NBA’s new combined deals will hit 7B+ starting next season (up from 2+B). Strange days ahead.
