The Philadelphia Flyers have announced their opening night NHL roster. It is the same group that practiced together on Friday. Practice combinations on Monday were the same as Friday.
Nick Seeler (lower-body) remains off the ice. In terms of the depth chart, based off practice combos and assuming Seeler is OK for the regular season opener in Vancouver, things presently seem to shake out this way:
Matvei Michkov - Sean Couturier - Travis Konecny
Owen Tippett - Morgan Frost - Tyson Foerster
Joel Farabee - Jett Luchanko - Bobby Brink
Scott Laughton - Ryan Poehling - Garnet Hathaway
Nicolas Deslauriers - Noah Cates
Cam York - Travis Sanheim
Nick Seeler (?) - Jamie Drysdale
Egor Zamula - Rasmus Ristolainen
Erik Johnson
Samuel Ersson
Ivan Fedotov
PP1: Drysdale, Tippett, Frost, Konecny, Michkov
PP2: Zamula, Foerster, Luchanko, Farabee, Brink
As fully expected, Ryan Ellis is on IR for the season. General manager Daniel Briere said during a pre-practice press conference that the team has to hold aside Ryan Johansen's cap money in the event the NHL rules that the team has to carry him on the cap this season.
