Stars Gameday; Game 4 vs. SJ |

|
Looking to stay undefeated in the new NHL season, the Dallas Stars (3-0-0) will host the San Jose Sharks (0-1-1) at American Airlines Center on Tuesday. Game time is 7:00 p.m. CDT. The game will be televised on Victory+.
The Stars enter this game coming off a
3-0 home win over the New York Islanders on Saturday and a
2-0 triumph over the Seattle Kraken on Sunday.
Look for Jake Oettinger (34-save shutout vs. the Islanders) to return to the net for Dallas on Tuesday after Casey DeSmith blanked Seattle. Through the first three games of the regular season, the Stars have not trailed a game at any point.
Stars captain Jamie Benn has often feasted off the Sharks during his career, especially in recent seasons. He has recorded at least one point in seven straight games against San Jose. He has compiled 13 points (4g, 9a) in that span. Overall, Benn boasts 48 career points vs. San Jose.

I'm pulling double duty tonight. I will catch the first two periods of the Stars-Sharks game prior to the Flyers-Oilers game in Edmonton. The Flyers wrapup will run on HockeyBuzz tomorrow morning. After I watch the remainder of tonight's Dallas game, the Stars game wrapup blog will be posted.
