mason apparently has his own ideas. he's gonna be lights out like he has been for the last 2 games for the rest of the season and then say "gimme 5.75 for 5 years"

after that he will go back to being a streaky hit or miss lesbian goaltender.

I'm on the fence with Mason. For the past few seasons he's been the reason the Flyers have made or come close to the playoffs, IMHO!

This season, I don't know what went wrong. Defense hasn't been terrific we all know that, but he doesn't seem like his consistent self this year.

It just seems like for a while the issue with Flyers was always goaltending. They could score, had pretty good defense, but goalies always haunted them. Then it seemed like they solved that issue with Mason. But then the defense took a poop. And now scoring, defense, and goaltending have all taken a poop.

The team is just a pile of poop.

I'm hoping they can add a scoring winger for Giroux or what's left of Giroux. Hopefully the defense will be better. And I think they need a legit #1 goaltender. Pay the money for Bishop.

WOW THERE'S SO MUCH WRONG WITH THIS!

(sorry, i just wanted to start off like a gaymeday post, i actually agree with everything you said)

i am still hopeful that claude is just hurt and after a nice offseason surg he can be who he was before because i really like him.

i want to like mason more than i do but this headcase thing where he goes in the toilet every time he feels the least bit of competition for the net bothers me. there was a time when i was really excited about him being the goalie here.

i am willing to pay bishop if god can promise me that he stays mostly healthy.
