i'd never steal someone's food but i feel like mustard is fair game. I kind of feel guilty for opening it though

yeah, the unopened part would throw me too. open is definitely fair. its not like someone is going to eat a whole jar in one sitting. bright side? its only your conscience that you have to deal with. no one will ever know it was you
