i have some questions


1. does xbone automatically install a game onto the hard drive when you put the disc in? I loaded up JP and it said "installing" and it took like 15 minutes. If so, this seems like a dumb waste of hard drive space.

2. when i go to the home screen from a game, the game screen sort of just minimizes into a window. then later when i go back to it, it literally just opens the window and i got right back directly to where i left off. Almost like i just left it on pause. is this normal or should i somehow be closing out of the game fully when i am done?

1. I highly recommend getting an external hard drive for your device, then you can save trips to the gayme store and just download direct from xbox store. get a USB3.0 1TB external hard drive and you'll be set.

2. This allows you to just quickly resume gayming. The gayme is not "spinning" on the disc drive, the disc is really now to just verify license to play after install. All gaymes will auto-install. This means you are not running the disc drive constantly, risking damage to the disc. Again, if you put a lot of gaymes on the bone, you may run out of space and the external will be a must. It is easy to set-up.

Bonus: I recommend you get EA Access. Can't remember the price, but you get access to 6 hour previews of select new EA gaymes, the saves transfer over. You also get the "EA Vault" which is free gaymes from EA, like Titanfall, Madden 15, FIFA 15, NHL 15, and Battlefield 4. You also get 10% discount on all EA products you download from store.

you don't need to close the game. you can turn off the console and resume later where you left off
