We have perforce linked to the windows pwd.... imagine the cluster (frank) when they forget their pwd and then female dog about data not being up to date on their work station.. worst part is they can never remember any (frank)ing pwds...

if i was your IT guy i would create a script to try to login with your account 2 times (or 4 depending on your security policies) with an incorrect password and so when you inevitably mistype your password ONCE, you get locked out hahaha you poop.

the program i use to pull financial info is from 2003. the company that made the program stopped providing tech support for it in 2013 because they figured no one in their right mind would use it for more than 10 years.

this is for a company whose CEO is one of the most profitable CEOs of all time.

I've only had it for 2 weeks. Only thing I hate about it is the middle click opens a (frank)ing windows search panel that I have yet to take 2 mins to configure to not do so.

i keep losing connection to the internet and having to restart my computer (multiple times a day)
the computer is pretty new and this started the day after i installed windows 10 so i'm suspicious and irritated

my only issue is the myriad of updates since the install.

but i guess that's to be expected.

they're just annoying. there's been 10 updates in the 25 days i've had it.

Put auto updates to off. Wait a couple of weeks and then update

Your network drivers aren't compatible.

i was going to but then i realized i would never think to go do them.

i figure the updates will slow down eventually. it's just gotta be this many right up front cause it's new.

besides now that i heard dave's problem some updates don't seem so bad. besides, i can always just jump on the other computer while the laptop does the update.
