when i played my one year of junior we had a 50-60 year old dude who showed up to most games, halfway through the season there were 2-3 games where he wore a paper bag over his head because of how bad we were

i love how players notice this stuff. Its even better at the junior levels. Parents brawling in the stands and people reacting like its life or death while the players couldnt really give a (frank) so long as it opens the door to some local puck bunny tang
