Their power play has been awful for two+ years. I don't imagine it getting any better.

I doubt Marchand and berg are 100% in the playoffs. Boston is set up to lose.

i understand both sides. i do see Ott's point in that, if you boo, fair enough, just know that at that point you are contributing to the problem whether you signed up for that or not. on the other hand, fans are certainly free to express their frustration and that's the most vocal way of doing it. it's not like fans can get 3 minutes in the dressing room to do it in private.

It's about picking your spots. Fans have every right to do it. It's their money. They can do what they want. I don't think the likes of Steve Ott are begrudging this. However, just because it's your right to do it, it doesn't necessarily mean you can't be a jackass for doing so either. I'll boo, but only when they're down and out of it. If you're booing the team in the mid to late stages of a tie game, and one that you have a chance of winning, you aren't accomplishing anything but creating a toxic atmosphere for the sake of creating a toxic atmosphere.

I made this analogy the other day. I have every right to purchase a Corvette and go offroading with it. It's my money, and I can do with it what I please. It doesn't make it a dumb thing to do, and a classic car lover has every right to call me an idiot for doing so. And he would be correct in doing so.

Not pay their money to watch them? Thats what Ive been doing. If youre not happy with where the team is then just dont go, spend your money elsewhere. No one is forcing anyone to go to these games.
