Oh, Stanley's Little Prize has to get prime PP time. No wonder Stalberg female doged. - John Jaeckel
But the almighty Saad was third in the Calder voting. That counts for something, right? |

He made a nice glove save on a Keith shot in the first and then...can't remember much. - philco28
I remember that one... that was about it you're right. |

1 shot in the last 5 power plays.
They deserve to lose in 5, and Kompon should be fired before the final buzzer. |

I would still do Kaner for Florida's number 2 pick and Kulikov, even if Kaner scores a hattie tonight |

This guy has been just horrible for almost the entire playoff. He's had a good game or two along the way, but for the most part has been a detriment. If Q had any balls, Bolland would be done for the night. Turns the puck over which give Boston their first goal, then takes a dumb penalty and then for good measure takes yet another needless, dumb penalty. Just so sick of seeing it. But of course, he's a Q guy so all that stuff gets overlooked. - RetiredGoalie
BTW, you're invited to the Bollus going-away party -- SteveRain will be inviting you soon. Glad to see we've got another fan that's come to his senses. |

If Stan Bowman is the "GM," and the front office structure remains as is, I would expect very little to nothing in the way of meaningful additions. i don't care what the apologists say, it is a commitee.
Stalberg and Bolland will be gone, but only Bolland will bring anything back in terms of a player or prospect. Bolland can't get you too much at this point, he looks 38 instead of 28.
Q and Kompon will be blamed. Kompon will be forced out. You might see a Brookbank-like free agent acquisition. Maybe. Just as likely not. Bickell will be re-sgined for big bucks˘then we'll have to see if he can live up to it. - John Jaeckel
And that would be a HUGE mistake akin to the 6 million a year they gave Seabrook.

Exactly. I cannot think of 1 SINGLE TOUGH SAVE HE HAS HAD TO MAKE TONIGHT. NOT ONE. Pathetic. - SAVOIRFAIRE
Keith had a nice shot low glove side in the first period, but that was about it. |

Not much - if any - room left after "dumping" Bolland, buying out Olesz and Montador, and resigning Bickell, Kruger, Leddy.

The Hawks get a powerplay and the world snores.
This team looks like garbage. No fight, no heart. Time to warm up the buses. They may not win another game. - kwolf68
Well, they're NOT welcome on the fire Q bus! |

Why does anyone on the Hawks even bother centering the puck anymore? There's never anyone there. Never. |

ONE shot on FIVE power plays. With that effort, this team doesn't deserve to win. Sure glad that Q can crack a joke about it with Pierre though. - RetiredGoalie
Like Skiles said, when asked what Curry has to do to improve his rebounding: "Jump." |

I came to my senses on Bolland long before the playoffs even started. He was great in 2010 during the cup run and even played well in the Vancouver series in 2011 when he was able to play, but since then . . . it's been a steady decline of injuries and poor play. Too many other guys can give you what he gives you for a hell of a lot less.
And as I type this, Bolland kills any chance of getting back into this game with another dumb penalty. Unphucking believable. |

CC Apologist checking in to say....
PHUCKPHUCKPHUCK
I knew Kane cherry-picked, but man... Sharp nearly has him beat there. NUMBNUTS BOLLAND taking stupid penalties. Passing Play... I mean Power Play... can't even muster a shot on goal... Seabrook playing with his head up his A$$ again.
Feeling a lot like 1992.
