I considered heading to HFboards if Ek doesn't do something, but the reality is he won't. As I said before, anyone who has a media pass and friendly relationship w/ an actual GM is NOT going to get removed from the bloggers here.

I didn't say anything bad..just that i'm a better writer and have more knowledge of the sport and produce interviews WITHOUT a media pass..i never said anything bad about her....and i'm providing a place for real isle fans to talk about the game

I didn't say anything bad either. I didn't insult her personally. Just her blogs in a way I felt was constructive

Instead of actually responding and making an effort to write something people actually want to read, she deletes the comments. Why doesn't she just realize that she's probably a lot better in the kitchen than in front of the computer. Go make me a sandwich and stop blogging. It's a win-win.

IDK but I'm getting the impression he hasn't given her any advice on some new blog content?

Because he would want a tenant that will draw in his new building, The building in Brooklyn can not be "changed" into an NHL arena without major construction.
He's not going to tip his hand that the Isles could/would come back because the building without a potential major tenant is worth considerably less & he could buy it for that much lower price. If his plan doesn't work, he & Wang still have the team in Brooklyn and he redesigns it with the money he saves from losing the NVMC bid & knowing there isnt another option for the Isles.

I dont think anyone expected Dolan to throw his hat in the NVMC picture & ultimately he may even win this whole thing.

Ratner could get a tenant: The bridgeport sound tigers (or another AHL franchise). Once the operation gets running in Bklyn, the Isles are going to see revenue they couldn't dream of generating in Nassau County. The corporate dollars are going to be rolling in and drawing fans to the building is going to be easy with all the mass transit options. Once the machine gets going, its going to be impossible to rationalize moving the team back out to suburbs and abandon the new revenue streams that Bklyn affords the team.

NY178 posted the link to this thread and she accused him of slamming and stole that McDonald's analogy jethro used the other day which is proof that she has read our posts ans was very much aware of our feelings about her blogs.

Sound Tigers' lease runs for quite a while longer though I think...like 2020 or something like that. I know the Whale renewed theirs recently, but only until 2016. When that news broke, I figured it was likely that they'd end up in the Coliseum.

I think this will better than Nassau(the corporate dollars)but i don't think it's going to be rolling in. That's what MSG is for. Brooklyn isn't exactly the HUB for corporate America and it's a pain in the ball sack to get there as compared to Manhattan. It'll certainly be better but I'm not so sure to what extent? People that live/work in Manhattan do not like going to Brooklyn. It's a pain in the a$$. I was one of those people. Though overall we will be better off there for sure especially when referring to revenue, no denying it but I'm not so sure about the corporate side of sales?
