That may be the case. To me that's far worse than simply not reading the comments. To be clear I'm not defending Dee in any way. I stopped reading her blogs years ago. I jumped straight to the comments. The good news is we'll have a second blogger so I'll won't have to do that anymore.

The disappointment for me is that he's not A LOT better than Romney....that is what is causing me to lose faith in the entire deal, and scared for the future. The opposition to oligarchy is dead and buried, and many people apparently think that's a good thing. Enough said....back to hockey....

This depends on what kind of building they would build on Long Island- but I will agree that it is an option....the lease is likely with the corporation, not the building.

When someone says theres nothing to write about or discuss as far as hockey this time of year then they are not what I consider a.knowledgeable fan. There is tons to write about. If you have to ask for suggestions maybe you should be doing something else with your spare time? How is that we all find topics to discuss every freaking day about hockey on here and her "blogs" have zero substance?

The thing that REALLY gets me is the openly wishing they'd move somewhere else other than Brooklyn....like ANYWHERE. REALLY? What kind of fan is that? Is Brooklyn REALLY THAT AWFUL.....beneath her, or something? Do you root for the team, or just autograph signings and viewing parties? It IS insulting....it's OK to be controversial....if there's substance to what you do...but there's never any legitimate hockey related reason for any of it. It's just whining, with no facts of any kind to back it up. What's best for the on ice product....or any REAL, substantive dissertation in regards to the on ice product......never enters the equation...

in other news..i'm working on a new article which will be out Monday...with the hockey news slow I don't feel the need to flood the forum with blogs unless news dictates it

I've always defended the guy who runs this show, and here's why: it's for entertainment. It gets everyone to talk about hockey. If some think he's a fraud because he posts rumors that don't turn out to be truthful, all I can say is this- if OUR GM told Eklund what he was going to do before he does it, I think we'd all expect him to be fired.....immediately. Yes, Eklund's rumors are mostly cr*p, but so are mostly everyone else's rumors, except for McKenzie, and he's been THE source FOR pretty much EVER. That isn't the point. It's entertainment.....something to do besides watch brain melting garbage on the TV.... At least he doesn't post blogs that are similar to the brain melting cr*p on the TV....just saying. Just MHO....

I don't know about that. There are no qualifications to being a blogger and there are a lot of bloggers theses days. I think it puts teams in a tough spot sometimes but they (bloggers in general, not Dee) may be a necessary evil. Besides, Snow was probably glad to be interviewed by Dee because it would be a bunch of softball questions.

I don't know if she thinks she's good. If you believe she's doing this for team access then she may not care.

What in the name of tap dancing Jesus freaking Christ has gone on around here for the last 36 hours?

If 178 doesn't become a blogger here, I may jump ship. I love posting here and in my 5 years I have lots of fake friends I like to have back and forths with, but this is the Internet, there are a ton of places to talk Isles hockey.

This isn't the first time the powers that be have rankled our feathers, remember the 316 debacle? They claim they have a good Isles community and that they want to work with us....well...we have a guy who's very passionate about this team, is extremely educated about them and actually writes about things we care about.

I wont comment on Dee because I don't know what she writes about. I have no interest in reading them. I like this site, I think, despite the trolls that infest every blog site on the Net, the best fans post here. Do the right thing. Keep Dee, bring on 178. He has earned it.
