2nd and de hann for franson... think it's enough? - Dgmilazz
According to he Toronto blogger...the Maple Leafs are looking for a 2nd and a mid level prospect...Franson would be a very good pickup for the Isles...
A lot of people seem to think he is bcs of the cap and them having to sign some guys like kadri for example. He'd be a great addition but I'd do it for a second and someone else besides DeHaan if he was indeed available. With that said I doubt there will be any other additions to our line up from outside?

I do the deal for a second & de Hann (talented, but I dont trust his ability to stay healthy)
I just think Toronto will make it work.. they are like 5 million under the cap with Kadri and him needing to be signed.... that's VERY doable.

You also have to remember.. thats what the blogger thinks Toronto would be looking for.

Here is where I saw it:
According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, the Toronto Maple Leafs may consider moving defenceman Cody Franson, a restricted free agent looking at a major payday. The following comes from Dreger’s Twitter feed on Friday:
Franson trade speculation will heat up. Leafs would like to keep him, but $$ is too much. Prospect and draft pick fair return?

@mirtle. Don’t have Leafs cap specifics in front of me, but, Franson at $4+ has to be reasoning behind trade consideration.

Yep, Dreger just speculating. He's asking a question, not stating what he heard the leafs want.
What kind of coach needs his assistants to yell at the team when they play like sh*t? He's not an X's and O's guy, and he's not a motivator.....so what does he do? - dcb1
maybe we need to rewind to early last season and see if the puck in cappy's face was an accident!
