Depends how much faith you have in Columbus. Bob goes good year bad year and its time for bad year.
He also might lose out on some production with 5 D for 4 spots and an excess of Fwd's unable to play.
On the otherhand, he's finished top 4 regular season like 3 years in a row and forgets to set his lineups after October |

Drop Perron or Ship for a D and he's set. Don't have tons of faith in CBJ but I like his skaters a lot. |

Definitely due to regress a bit as a team
Having Werenski and Jones should mask some of their problems. Panarin should help their PP. Not a huge fan of their C's, they have some guys who are good middle 6 C's but no stud. Gotta like their wingers obviously. |

The first half vs second half stats for a lot of guys is pretty bonkers too. Cam Atkinson was over a PPG until sometime in like January, like 38 in 36 or something and finished with like 62 points. Same with Foligno. I don't know how to feel about Wennberg. I really don't know how to feel about Panarin in a Torts system. Will Werenski keep it up? Hartnell was a good producer for them, he got bought out. Dubinsky had one of his better years but if he had 31 pts by the end of the season I don't think you can say you were surprised. The guy who ran their lethal PP in Gagner is gone too. That team is set up to be run from the haflwall on the right side, but now they have no RH guy to run it through.
Former WHL stud Bjorkstrand and Jenner rebounding are really gonna be key for them. |

Jenner hurt his back and is gonna miss some time. Werenski had something like 20 points in his first 30 games.
I think they're gonna miss Gagner a lot more than they think. |

He was magic on the PP. It was the perfect set up for a RH playmaker in 1-3-. LH down low, RH/LH in front, LH far side, and LH D to rip shots.
The Canucks now are trying to use him as a one timer option instead of the way he was used successfully last year. Which is so (frank)ing Benning it hurts me. "How was this guy successful? K, what if we don't use him that way at all coach? Sounds good to me"
The Canucks 2nd PP unit is the most backwards ass thing I've ever seen. Horvat LH, Baertschi LH, Burmistrov LH, up front with Edler LH and Stecher RH on D. And they're running it off the right side so that almost nobody ever has a one time oppotunity. |

Christ. At least throw one righty down low. Sutter has hands like bricks but he can go down to the net for one-timers at least. |
