Christ. At least throw one righty down low. Sutter has hands like bricks but he can go down to the net for one-timers at least.

Well he isn't on the PP which is nice because he was a blackhole there last year. But Boeser RH and Virtanen RH aren't either. Virtanen was skating as the extra forward today. Which is what you want to do with the 6th overall pick who was finally starting to put it together getting first/2nd line minutes and PP time.

Like unit 1 should be 1-3-1 right side with Danny-Hank, Vanek, Boeser-Stecher. Unit 2 on the left side with Horvat-Gagner, Virtanen, Granlund/Baertschi, Edler.

But that's just me, using simple hockey knowledge and peaking at the best PP's in the NHL for their alignments. The not NHL assistant coach Newell Brown who has run awful PP units every year since 2011, with his trade mark no one timer alignments.

No. It was Twins, Vanek, Gagner and MDZ. Again, ran through Hank with his only one timer option being Gagner on the far wall.

Sign Gagner. Use him as a one timer option instead of running a PP unit, the thing he did that literally revived his career and is the reason you signed him.

Sign Eriksson. Don't play him as the slot guy or net front on the PP, use him as half wall support and have Danny be net front, despite Loui scoring his 30 goals because he put away garbage on the PP and had Bergeron and Marchand shots deflecting in off his pants for like 20 of his goals.

Sign MDZ. Atrocious PP QB since his early days in NY. Couldn't buy PP time in Philly even before Ghostbear arrived despite being LH to Giroux's RH. Make him the PPQB dman on your top unit with LH Henrik Sedin.

I don't think he'll have a big jump, but probably around 55~ points this year.
