OOh good question. I'm going to say Ehrhoff, but it's like 51-49% sure. |

I love the people who call and just don't (frank)ing understand how being mediocre for eternity is so much worse than bombing for one more year. I scream at the radio like grandpa used to do during the football games. - TheSabresTaco
Don't those IDIOTS understand that Murray has one shot at this? Pegula is NOT a patient owner, he will fire you right after the 16th mistake you make.
Murray needs to win, and do it now otherwise it's one and done at the FNC |

Ehrhoff and a 2nd to move up
When Hodg gets traded, it will have to be a HOLY SH!T trade that people are rumoring around here.
I bet Stewart or even Grigs will get the boot before Hodg |

Why does anyone want Stastny?
Reinhart is 1C material
Ennis is 2C material
Girgensons or Larsson 3C material
Hodge and Girg are more likely to be wingers but we have that filled so throwing 7M long term money at Stastny seems bad.
Not to mention, we need to stay bottom league to get a franchise player this year or next. We could have 2 top 8 picks next year alone - JVince11
Reinhart and Bennett are 2C material especially after Tank 2 is accomplished this year.
Ennis is small 2C material
Girgenson is 3C material; Larsson?
Grigorenko? |

Great question, my guess is Hodgson if the Sabres draft Bennett, Draisaitl, Reinhart for a legit winging in a package |

They're not IDIOTS, they're (frank)ing morons.

I listen to the morning show on demand, because they are somewhat decent. And I can skip around. Can listen to all 4 hours in 2.5 hours.
Listen to Shredd and Reagen in the morning first though. |

Ha I'm glad you know exactly which call I'm talking about. There was another gem yesterday on the drive home around 3:40.
And can we talk about how awful Schopp has been lately? Yes, yes, he's usually annoying. But lately, remember last week when he talked about the name change of the Redskins for THREE HOURS instead of talking anything Buffalo related? Or how about, for three whole hours, talking about the top injuries in sports. Fine, talk about it for ten, 20 minutes. But we're only a few days from the draft (yesterday) and you're talking about this poop for hours. Spare me. |

I did forget Grigo. .. I just have no idea what to expect with him honestly.
I can see him being packaged with Ehrhoff or something.
If these E. Kane rumors are true then I can see him in that trade with Staff/Stewart/Hodge |

Howard and Jeremy take a lot of flak but they blow Shopp and Chris out of the water.
If I'm being totally honest, Bulldog alone is 10x the show without his partner. |

Agreed. Its actually listenable. He can form an opinion and actually take counter arguments where Schoop just says no you are wrong, that's stupid you don't agree with me. |

Unless we're picking up a guy of Kane's age and caliber, giving up on Grigs might be a mistake. He's just too talented. He may be a late bloomer when it comes to development but I'm fairly confident he'll become a quality NHLer. He dropped because his two way game was non existent and his speed and strength needed to be improved upon. The fact is he has improved all of those facets since being drafted and deserves to be in this organization as long as he's showing improvements. |

I heard that Nolan wants to keep Stewart and work with him and has put the bug in TM's ear not to trade him. If Stewart isn't moved soon, he will be at the deadline. |

That makes sense. My view is that I can't see Hodgson being a winger for the long term here when he is a natural center. Murray can't like Ehrhoff's comments about being here so I would think he'll be in play at the draft. Carolina's D is awful and I wonder if that would be a possible destination. Detroit and Pitt could also be spots for Ehrhoff. |

Unless we're moving into the top 10, it seems like overpayment. I mean, we used a 21st and 42nd to grab a 14th. A guy like Ehrhoff alone can probably get you a 1st and a 2nd because of his talent, contract and age. Ehrhoff and the 31st should feasibly grab you a 10th. |

Jeremy kinda gets on my nerves. He's also got an issue with getting stuck on one thing and not letting it go. Not quite to the extent of Schopp, but not too far behind either. |

How does trading Hodgson help? we are very weak at center. Moving him is a mistake. |

We have 3 picks in the 2nd as well so a move back into the 1st seems likely. I would hope we trade Ehrhoff for a roster player. |

We were weak at center last year too, but by the end of the year they had him playing wing.
Ennis was the #1
Girgensons was the #2 |
