he was a drunken mess then.

his character was good but the only memorable thing i can think of is turning on nash and even that wasn't really well done.

it just seemed more real while all the wwf guys were dressed in bright superhero looking outfits and just being way over the top.

at least that's why i chose it back then.

and sting and flair seemed compelling to me when i really started following it and watching it every saturday to see if they'd finally let sting get to him.

They had one solid angle ever. The NWO and they got every inch out of it until they inevitably ruined it.

Vince said "oh that's what you want?" And eviserated them once the attitude era was in full swing.

Bishoff, Nash, Hogan..... And incredibly overrated from a creative stand point because they got it right once. In the end Vince proved to be on an entirely different plain of existence creatively along with Pat Patterson and Michael Hayes.

Never was a Hogan fan and this is probs because I missed his entire career pretty much and all I ever saw was an old man that looked like a hot dog with mustard and ketchup
