I haven't read Caper's thing yet but I think this is the best opportunity for Lameus to cash-in. Easy storyline going through the rumble is Ambrose winning/about to win and then a Lameus cash in to put the strap on him.

Lameus v Ambrose at TLC, Lameus wins. Then Reigns steps up to the plate at the Rumble and beats Lameus, Ambrose wins the Rumble and then Ambrose-Reigns for the strap at Mania

But this won't happen once Cena comes back and wins the Rumble and then wins the title at Mania for his 17th reign or whatever

Now is the time because they can take the title off him at RR by Reigns. Have Brock win the rumble and do reigns/Brock II where reigns goes over clean making him the ultimate beast they want.

When I watched, the man who won the IC belt was pretty much the next big dude you had to watch out for. Not Kofi (frank)ing Kingston losing it unceremoniously to wade Barrett on a taped smack down.

There will be three play ins to the 4 man SS championship tourney as Reigns will be awarded an automatic spot because of his #1 contender status

Ambrose def. Owens in the first play in and thus solidifies his spot in the final four.

Shameus def. Cesaro in the second play in to reach the final four

Alberto Del Rio def. dolph Ziggler in the third play in to reach the final four

At SS:

Reigns def. Shameus in the first semi
Del Rio def. Ambrose after Owens interferes costing Ambrose the match and setting up their feud for the IC. Title.

Before the final, HHH announces that the title match will be a no DQ. Reigns is forced to battle through waves of authority mid level heels attempting to secure the title win for del rio and prevent the belt from falling into reigns hands. Ambrose comes out but is quickly neutralized by Owens as the two brawl away from the ring but it buys enough time for reigns to hit the spear and win the title.

Reigns, barely able to stand, raises the title but Shameus music hits, the man he vanquished earlier in the night has come for revenge and cashes in the briefcase, and after a furry of near finishes, Shameus is able to hit the brogue kick on reigns when he is inadvertently distracted by a returning Ambrose and Shameus leaves SS WWE world heavyweight champion.
