And then I have Cena's music hit and after another minute nothing happens still.... HHH gets on the mic and starts talking about how everybody on Team Cena became cowards at the last minute and realized they were fighting a losing battle blah blah blah. As soon as HHH is about to declare victoy we hear....

Exposed to direct sunlight, Sheamus bursts into flames

Wrestling fans worldwide are united in concern for Irish superstar Sheamus, who tragically burst into flames this morning after being exposed to direct sunlight.

Sheamus was reportedly walking from a WWE tour bus toward a hotel in New York City when he inadvertently stepped into a sunbeam, immediately erupting into a fiery blaze.

He was rushed to Manhattan’s St. Vincent General Hospital, where emergency room doctors determined he had suffered first-degree burns to 60 per cent of his body.

Sheamus is reportedly determined to return to WWE action after a series of skin grafts, and has already requested that his nickname be adjusted to The Great Pink.

During the course of last night's episode of Monday Night Raw in Roanoke, Virginia, Sheamus was put through the announcer's table by Mark Henry. This was done to write him out of the Team Cena vs. Team Authority match at the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view scheduled for this Sun., Nov. 23, 2014, at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

WWE.com has the storyline update:

WWE.com can confirm that former U.S. Champion Sheamus was taken to a local medical facility in Virginia following his match with Big Show on Raw. The extent of The Celtic Warrior's injury is undetermined, but it has been confirmed he will not be able to compete at Survivor Series this Sunday.

It's unclear why exactly this move was made. There are no early indications that Sheamus is legitimately injured and all signs point to this simply being a part of the storyline. His spot on Team Cena was taken by Erick Rowan, who is being positioned opposite Luke Harper, the final member of Team Authority.

When it becomes clear what the future holds for Sheamus, we'll let you know.
