seems neat. i don't know who anyone is mostly

is everyone's character "i'm super badass and cool"? because thats fine for like a bit and stuff I guess, but kinda lame when everyone is that way

i just stumbled onto this vid on youtube. i'm only 5 minutes in and there's a guy cutting a ric flair promo, with no god damned teleprompter or script, that's 1000x better than any promo i've seen in years and years.



stu stu studio wrestling in 2019 is probably a very bad idea, but jim cornette is involved and i do like that. i'm months behind on his podcast so i didn't even know this was a thing. look carefully and i think that dude's nwa belt is even a replica (no way it's the real thing) of ric's old nwa belt.

welp it was actually good. but its charm is because what they are doing is picking up right where studio wrestling left off. like cheesily and perfectly so. but there's nobody left to "get" this. i only know it from watching old youtube videos of old vhs tapes of old matches between jerry lawler and superstar bill dundee in front of 70 people at a television studio in memphis or sometimes georgia. those fans are all dead now or too old to know how to find this show. even the cheddar as (frank) opening with the stars and the bad graphics is probably as much tongue in cheek as it is budget related.
