I'm more so tired of Eller than Bourque. I'd really like to see Parenteau back with Pacioretty and Desharnais and Sekac in with Plekanec. If I needed to sit both Eller and Bourque then so be it.

In a perfect world there would be no Bourque, Moen or Desharnais on this team IMO.
As it stands, I'd like to see:
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Galchenyuk (take turns at Center)
Sekac - Pleks - PAP
Bournival - Eller - Gallagher
Prust - Malhotra - Weise |

Most intense? I would say Gallagher is the most intense. The theory that Patches plays better with DD is incorrect. He gets knocked off the puck very easily, is not a top 6 guy. 15 GP this year and has 7 pts! Move Galchenyuk to Patches C and we'll see the difference a lot sooner than later. |

If his name was Sean Stevens I doubt you'd be singing the same tune.
The guy is a 2nd line center who always gets the benefit of the doubt and always gets to play with one of the best scoring wingers in the NHL over the last 3 seasons, no matter what the results are. It's bullpoop. |

Gallagher is intense yes, but DD gets out on the corners with the puck more than Gallagher.
Galchenyuk has a big 8 points...
PacMax won't play for any other centers than DD... Everyone knows that.

Sorry buddy but you're lying to yourself if you think his contract and playing time have nothing to do with his last name. Not one other player on the team in the last 3 years has enjoyed the stability he has in terms of line mates. He escapes the scrutiny of the french media and usually gets heaps of praise for things a regular player wouldn't get praised for, like barely adequate defensive play.
Like I said, if the guy's name was Sean Stevens, from Thunder Bay, he'd be playing 14 minutes a night, with nearly no PP time and wouldn't even get to sniff Pacioretty's jock strap. |

How do we know that? No one else gets a chance to play with him.
Pacioretty looks his best game in game out this season on the PK, with Plekanec. Weird, huh? |

I like Desharnais well enough but I agree, last year Pacs played what 1 game with Pleks against Vancouver and they were awesome...it was enough to get DDs head out of the sand. For a guy his size he plays pretty hard. I hate the language thing but I do believe, sadly, that it does exist. |

I don't enjoy making this a language thing, it's just the reality of the situation. |

That sentence is atrocious, but yeah. Just goes to show, Pacioretty spends 90% of his time on ice with Desharnais. |

I think Pacioretty would be sucessful with ANY C. And I think he might be better with another C that didn't get knocked off the puck so easily or had a shot that could score |

David Desharnais has the worst shot I have ever seen on a pro hockey player. I've been saying it since he joined the league, he has a below-average shot for a major junior player, never mind an NHLer.
He does win more battles than he he is given credit for, and his defensive play has improved, especially in the last year or so. But I think that's about the only positive things I can say about him.
Defenders know how to play him, he only passes to Pacioretty and his shot is just not a threat to goaltenders unless they are heavily screened. |

If going by performance right now (and awarding ice time), shouldn't the lines be:
Pacioretty - Eller - Sekac
Galchenyuk - Pleks - PAP/Gallagher
Weise - Prust - Gallagher/PAP
Desharnais - Malhotra - Bowman |
