i think the biggest travesty (which i know we've already discussed) is the fact that the blue jackets continue to hold onto their normal sets. they need to be abandoned in favor of home/roads based on their gorgeous thirds

oh. that day too.

the thin lines that run up and down some jerseys from the armpits is an example of random piping. the most egregious example, actually.

in this case the fact that the piping around the shoulder area doesn't match the rest of the stripes and stuff on the jersey is what's being discussed by the adults.

wouldn't call it random piping, but useless. I associate random more with what the flames and sabres have which just happen to start from the stomach and stop in the armpits.

mr. #2ndlevel assumed i was talking specifically about that pic of the Oiler uni. The fact its there gives me an indication that is may still be prevalent in other sets.

make the (frank)ing thing a broader stripe so it fits with the rest of the mother(frank)ing uniform.

I still can't believe i missed the Kings wearing white pants in that stadium game

wasnt a fan of their execution but I always kind of wanted a team to go full white with a ghost type gimmick

i guess it might be hard because they'd blend in with the ice but i think it could be cool if done right
