The circle is important as it's in the logo.

Agree with the others on adjusting the new logo to fit the jerseys though and just trashing the old logo.

Disagree with you all mongoloids. New logo is plain boring canada symbolism with no personality or reference to hockey. Could represent any kind of business other than sports. Old logo, if it was created recently, would be considered as a bad effort. But it has history and personality and is more efficient than New logo.
