Seriously, I mean holy (frank)..how can anyone in such a high position be that dumb?

I would say that's actually an interesting comparison. The Titanic as a ship was great (the players). It was the people at the helm that sank it (Crappy& Snow). |

So would GS give up one of Beauvillier/Barzal-Ho-Sang for a high-end forward? Those are the three prospects other teams covet. |

and shout-out to this guy for doing some solid (frank)ing detective work
This is only a hope, I have nothing to back this up - but for me "vote of confidence" means that Cappy is very close to being on his way out. GMs don't usually give a "vote of confidence" to a coach that is safe. It's just implied that he is safe.
Traditionally, the isles have kept everything very quiet and close to the vest. Very similar situation happened with Scott Gordon:
http://www.newsday.com/sp...ite-isles-slump-1.2437597
"Scott is an excellent coach and we have a great relationship,'' Snow said, "but my policy has always been that any conversations between him and I stay that way."
Almost word for word what has been said and done regarding our current situation. And they're currently 1-3-3 in the last 7, and looking towards another rough several games against top teams.
Again, only wishful thinking, but I just have a gut feeling that they're going to lose 2 or 3 more and Cappy will be gone. - stevewebbsgoals

Nothing like a little chalk board material ....awesome - Upstate_isles
Except Crappy's idea of getting one is sneaking up to the catwalks after the game and stealing one. That's the only way he'll even get a sniff at a banner. |

I guess we can only hope for a little consistency in that regard. Sort of like Nick Saban yelling at the press that he's not going anywhere. Meanwhile, the movers are loading the truck. |

I mean, if you take the emotion out of it for a second and step back and look at the big picture:
Snow's silence on any Cappy issues implied that he felt no need to comment on a situation because there were no issues worthy of comment.
The sole fact that he said something is, to me anyway, indicative of some other feeling/viewpoint he has. He's usually pretty quiet unless the need to be outspoken arises, so him directly commenting on the record about the situation tells me there is something going on. Not sure what, but it's something. |

I would agree. Doesn't mean he's not an idiot. I'm just tired of talk. Just do some (frank)ing thing. Actions speak louder than words.
Wait a second, isn't he in Toronto at GM meetings still? |

Honestly, at this point...doing something would be welcomed but it's really pretty much too late. Season is overwhelmingly-likely cooked.
We would need to go 37-23-6 from here on out to get to 93pts, which is the "benchmark" for playoff contention. Last year it took 96pts to get in. That ain't gonna be easy. |

I just don't get if someone disappears for awhile, why they get so offended? - mdw7413
I have no clue. I don't get it either. I always took it that chief was supplying the vast majority of numerical facts. I guess some guys don't let facts cloud their opinions and take umbrage when you respond with viable facts or information that opposes their view. |

It's like a bunch of women I started to say chiefs was still around but deleted it cause I didn't want them to ruin this too. Facts vs opinions aren't clearly understood over there like Kr the guy says his opinions are facts but never backs them up with stats. He won't respond to me after I called him a tool for giving his height and weight over the subway debacle anyways I don't mind a debate but there are many times you need to use numbers to compare and contrast things to make your point instead we get guys screaming till they're blue in the face and beating their drums |

Several months ago, I don't remember which debate it was, his whole argument was based on "I know what I saw". Really dumbass. Because what he saw turned out to be not true at all. I'm kind of enjoying poking the fire. |
