Anyone watch the Jets-Leafs game last night? Just curious how Dano fared. His line of 8 mins and a -1 rating don't say much. I know the game was a disaster, but just curious if his skating/play has improved much. Always liked his game in general, but I get why he was traded.

Fourth in Central, first wildcard, but they play out west for the first two rounds of the playoffs, and advance to the conference finals. Winner of conference finals is the healthier team.

Since the format change (last 4 years), no team in the central has gotten 3rd place with less than 99 points and average is 103. Last time a team in the central got 3rd with 95 points or less was 2009 (Blues).

Chris Bodin replaces Sirott. Dream job, return to pl ay - by-play.
Sirott was good as WGN pre and post game host. Perhaps somewhat snug as much as arrogant imho but worth listening.
Bodin strikes me as a company man yes man type. I expect he follows Sirot's successful entertaining script.

Other: off to great start. Sooner or later the team will have to adjust to the sure to be applied Nashville smothering muck tie up center ice defense. Just getting puck up ice quicker is not the whole response to counter.
