Forsling having a rough games. Honestly, Murphy has been better than Forsling in all the games - Forsling has offensive push and a ton of potential, but Murphy defends better. Too bad they play on different sides. Sometimes d-men are not quite ready at 21. |

Toews + Saad on the PK is a lot like Toews + Hossa. Something we didn't see much in recent seasons, but some actual shorthanded counter-attack. |

So awesome to see Toews making plays again. He and Saad are a dangerous PK group. |

That's probably the only reason Gus is in ahead of Murphy. |

Debrincat turned the puck over at the offensive blue line which led to the Shorthanded rush by MTL and a good scoring chance. Debrincat made a hell of a touch pass to Big Arty to make up for it. |

Petry holding much worse that Forsling, yet his plays are fine. Again, reffing to the score. |

Exactly. Franson made a crappy pass later for those who want to beat him up some. |

DeBrincat got the puck under pressure because of a crap pass from Franson, which started the trouble at the blueline. |

Oddly, the right side is the one we all worried about in the off season but it's the left that might be a little weak.
Forsling is going to make mistakes and have more bad games than some of the older guys, for sure. I don't know if the NHL is where he really needs to be right now, but I do know that he needs to play to get better so I don't dislike him in the game now. I just wish Murphy was also getting to play. |

yes but he tried to go back along the blue line with 2 Canadians there to intercept the pass and go in 2v1 on Crawford. that puck should have been thrown down low in the O-zone.
OMG THAT CALL ON FRANSON IS SO (frank)ING SOFT |
|
|
|
This team has got to get more aggressive at the blue line in their own end, forwards are in no man's land |

I don't know if the call was soft or if Franson is as ineffective at slashing as he is at skating. |

These (frank)ing slash calls are so subjective....the refs can just call it whenever |
