Hartman second to last on the team with 4:28 total time on the ice (Bouma at 4:11.) Is he in Q's doghouse for that d-zone turnover that led to the Habs goal? - matt_ahrens
Probably a good guess, but he hasn't been noticeable for two games now. He should at least be hitting people if nothing else

Hard for Kane to do anything when his stick is being held at times by the opponent, several times its happened and no call, whatever - BetweenTheDots
... But they're behind on the scoreboard so it's ok |

Hawks gotta stop taking so many penalties while defending. It is better than Ozone penalties, but still...playing with fire way too much, even with the weak calls. |

That was a good call. Montreal woulda eventually scored as careless as the Hawks were. |

So do we think Toews suddenly learned to take draws overnight?
Or is the officiating in this league the worst in professional sports? |

8-0 shots on goal this period. Geeze. I know the Hawks have been on the PK all night so that hasn't helped. |

How about Crawford shutting it down though. He has been dialed in this seasons so far. |

Geezz looks like we may lose another in the last period if we don't pick it up here |

Saad is literally getting mugged every time he has the puck
But winning, so... |

Tell you one thing: although he's a "quitter," "no good" and not worth trading one of our future hallf of fame prospects or rookies for:
Matt Duchene is a 55%+ faceoff guy (who can kill penalties), blazing fast, responsible defensively (in spite of some cherry picked stats from a horrid Avalanche team last year) and is pretty much a skilled guy offensively who can play C or wing.
Or we can sit around and marvel at how much DeBrincat isn't scoring or how he looks laid out in the corner by the kind of hit he's gonna see more of until he realizes he ain't in the OHL anymore.
Being a Hawk fan comes with choices. - John Jaeckel
JJ your right about each fans choices, even though the kid scored tonite, if he's the piece that Sakic becomes hell bent on for a Duchene trade to Chicago, I'm making the deal, your last paragraph says a lot, this is the NHL baby, this isn't kids removed a year out of mom and dads house playing in the OHL. Duchene is a win now piece and probably would be so re energized to play with this group. |

10 mil a year for Price - I think its about 9 mil too much.
Bergy should have traded CC for price at the start of last season! |
