Six SOG over thirty minutes.... One and done O zone rushes, no control of the neutral zone, and turnover city.

And all with a depleted STL team missing three forwards and a 20+ minute D man.

Not enough nasty in the top six, so centers like AA are out of gas trying to play two way defense.

Me thinks it's time for a leadership change on the bench. Even if you don't want to put this on Q, changing the coach when a team is playing disinterested, discombobulated, and not up to their potential, sometimes that is what is needed.

ETA: They seemed to come back from their respective summer hockey camps and training blazing and then, something changed. What is it?

I know everyone has bag games every now and then, and i know its a little too early to make a judgement like this.

But this is different. And i don't wanna hear any excuses this time.

This is like the Leafs game. Where its not like we're just getting beat. We're getting beaten so soundly that it really says a lot about how far away this team is from contending. I mean these games(you can include the Habs game that we should have lost, the first 2 periods of the Preds game, pretty much everything after those first 2 wins) aren't close. We're getting MANHANDLED. Looks like we're from a minor league or something.

When its that bad, like its been again tonight, that speaks volumes. Schmaltz hasn't made any difference. Its likely that there's nothing that can be done, too many problems to fix, our time has come and gone. This team we're seeing tonight is all that's left. An inferior hockey team.

Imo our forwards suck, other than line 1, Schmaltz, they suck, Kane looks average last couple games and that's not good for this team
