A force for good or evil?
To be fair, that might end up being a "good" penalty - kinigitt
PK built some momentum. That goal increased it. |

Panik is a force all over the ice. Love the 20-19-14 combination. How many icing calls against the Yotes tonight?? Seems like 15 at least. I've liked Osterle's poise with the puck and his mobility. Kempny may struggle to get back into the lineup with Forsling improving and Osterle looking solid. - EnzoD
And that's a shame. Kempney probably has the biggest upside of any of these young defenseman but once again is not being given a leash. As usual, once in Q's doghouse, always in Q's doghouse.

Good 3rd period. Nice to see a tie game get dusted off in regulation instead of waiting for the loser point. |

finally got a front of the net rebound goal..and by the illustrious 4th line... - bogiedoc
Maybe James Tanner will tell us Bouma is our secret weapon!
Wondering if it had gone to shootout, where in the order does DeBrincat shoot? And if Toews still has it.
Well go have a Morton. Morton Anderson, football. No. Craig Morton, old Qb. No. Morton, Astros. Enjoy saying this, Yankees loose. Yankees loose. Kampf also scored twice for Rockford.
Now some fans can say, Went to Vegas. Won anything. No. Just saw my Blackhawks play. |

How many more cheap shots is this team going to take before they start returning them?
Hopefully Murph's response will wake some others up - Q are you watching? |

I forgot who did it but Kane was slow to get up early in the game. Did they forget about it? |

So the boys did better in the 3rd, 5 possessions in the teens, 27, 29 after they took the lead, 45 seconds, line 1 was a beast tonight even though they didn't score they kept theYotes pinned in their own end.
Schmaltz with his ability to steal the puck has been a big factor in driving ozone possession up for his line, to bad i can't see Schmaltz and Hossa play on the same line.
Really the biggest problem for the Hawks is teams collapsing and bringing all their defenders in the house so to speak. |

I think Oesterle has taken Kempny's job, at least for now. Because he moves the puck up the ice better. |

Yotes in the 3rd only has 3 in the teens, and 23, 23 second ozone possession, that's it |

Just came here to say ONE thing:
Tyson Nash is absolutely THE worst homer color man in the league.
It is not a knee jerk one game viewing opinion;he simply fabricates excellence for the team he is working for.
There were hawk "shots" not going ON the net that Louis Domingue that he gloved that Tyson Nash viewed as spectacular "saves."
I thoroughly understand they are STILL desperately selling the game in that market, but lying to the fans only creates imaginary parity.
Just tone it that freak down so you don't look like a bozo after the superstars on your offense and dee and goal crap the bed...

I thought I was the only guy who had to listen to that idiot Nash's drivel all game long.
He's probably still on the air down there demonstrating how goalie interference should have been called on Bouma's goal. |

LOL yeah and "best defenseman in the world OEL" looking mighty pedestrian tonight. Hammer was steady and solid as a rock but every other guy on their backend struggles to play defense. Still cannot believe Luke Schenn was a Top 5 draft pick with those cement bricks in his skates....that guy makes Seabrook look like Apollo Ono |

I guess I missed that. He had already softened me up with how many times he was kissing Domi and Keller's butts. |

Lines 1 + 4 have been very solid. Need to get more consistent puck possession and scoring from lines 2+3. Big depth goal from the grinders!! - EnzoD
Still rather see Debrincat with Kane and Schmaltz like the preseason. Hartman is better suited on line 3 with Sharp and Slow Mo 15. |

Would like to see much more from 15 offensively than we have thus far. Debrincat has proven that he's willing and able to go to the tough areas and take a hit to make the right play. If you put Debrincat with 8+88 that's a very small/finesse line but they had great puck possession in the preseason together. (frank)ing Calgary blows a 3rd period lead and Minnesota gets another 2 points... |
