Agreed, they haven't been scoring enough.

But overall and looking to the future with this team our forwards are in much better shape than our Dcore. At least in my opinion.

I honestly can't remember the last PP we had where the opposing team didn't produce AT LEAST 1 more promising scoring chance than we did despite being shorthanded. Its comical. Usually we don't come up with any scoring chances at all, let alone any that come close to what we're giving up at the other end.

Just look at it like this.....they have, top to bottom, the most talent in the NHL. At least in my opinion. Thats why i think they're the best team, its not about stats or even their record. Just the roster they have and the eye test when you watch those players. Sensational talent when you have Tyler Johnson as your 3C. They've added even more depth of young, budding talent than they had when we faced them in the Cup. And all those core players are back and more experienced.

As others have said, injuries are all that can stop them. They aren't just "hot/lucky". And what they're doing as a team is sustainable, even if their top line(most notably Stamkos and Kucherov) stops producing at this rate.
