Not playing like an expansion team. Give them credit, outskated, outworked and outchanced the boys in white. They wanted this game bad.

Vegas does deserve a lot of credit, they have had a pretty solid start to the franchise.

Seabrook-Keith pairing on shots for vs shots against and zone time tonight....I don't want to see those numbers. Again, if Keith-Seabrook cannot defend against #1 lines, then nothing else matters regarding the Cup Chances of this team. At what point do you think this team realizes that they aren't good enough to coast to wins?? This Vegas team is 7-1 for a reason, and the Hawks didnt put in the effort necessary to compete.

Seabrook can't take that defensive assignment anymore. He is best being deployed where they can use his shot and not force him to try to shutdown much.

He's become incredibly putrid when he attempts to contribute offensively.

5-3-2 means they've lost more games than they've won. Awful game, again. This is going to be a very long year. The effort, execution, and overall consistent team play since game 2 is troubling.

Wholly agree.

I get so frustrated watching him tee off from the point and hitting nothing but the boards behind the net. I haven't been able to watch many games this season yet, but I can't seem to recall the last time one of those "aiming for a stick" passes of his to the front of the net has worked.

At least the boys will have fun in the Vegas casinos and strip clubs tonight. It certainly didnt look like they were having much fun on the ice getting throttled by the Knights.

That washed up slow James Neal looked terrible tonight.... wreaking havoc down low and around the Hawks net.

Kane looks so disinterested and extremely frustrated on the ice.

Keith gets more shots through than any of the other D on the team. Not saying the shots are the best, but I think it is the volume he takes that makes it seem like he misses a high %. Only Kane has attempted more shots for the Hawks.

Before tonight, for example.

Kane 51 shots attempted - 47.1% through to the net
Keith 48 shots attempted - 52.1%
Toews 45 shots attempted - 55.6%

All the other D are 50% or less this year. Keith was ~50% last year too, but Rozsival beat him out getting over 60% of his shots on net.

The blocked shots from the point on the powerplay are a big point of contention for me.

Hawks need to find a way to stem the penalty parade. 5 more minor penalties tonight has them averaging 4.5 minor penalties per game. Panik, Seabrook, Hartman leading the way

Pathetic effort once again until it's too late. Ho Hum hockey is back after the first 2 games. Leadership starts from top down. Bowman....Quenneville.....Toews.

Something is wrong here. All these days off to prepare and work on things like the PP...NO results.

Same old voices not getting results......and 19 continues to be a huge disappointment. Saad or no Saad, he's not the same player any longer.

When our 4th line is the only line that has it going, we're in trouble.
