This PP is way too predictable. They move the puck way too slow so its too easy to defed. Have they changed how they execute the pp in the last four years?

Hard to to optimistic anymore. For all the shots, I can't remember any really great chances, just a bunch of perimeter shots...best chance may have been Hayden from Schmaltz right on doorstep late. Preds with numerous breakaways that Crow stuffed. I did think Schmaltz played well, and a few others, but overall not there.

Tough one to lose tonight ,thought the team played well .Rinne was and is one of the best goalies in the league . Schmaltz had a great game tonight ,on the PK was a force . AA played good tonight . Crow was very good as always . Team played a solid game for the most part ,can't win them all . PP needs work ,but thought it looked better . Think we need more mandatory practice ,Kane and Keith only two not there today and it showed .. GO HAWKS !!!!

Yeah - contributing - but (like everyone else) not scoring.

Last 7 games including tonite: 2+2+2+1+4+2+1=13 goals = 8 of them 5x5.

1-3-1 vs division and not looked all that good...

Agreed. At least they competed hard tonight for 60 minutes. Once again though, you can't score unless you get bodies to the net. Not enough of that again.
Credit to Anisimov. His best game of the year by far and using him on the PP was probably a confidence booster. Too bad their scheme (coaching) never changes.
Keith brutal again at the point.

Lastly.....let's just say that Quenneville's brilliance of playing both Debrincat and Panic on their wrong wings was another bad coaching decision. Let's put players in positions that make them indecisive and uncomfortable just to "shake things up". Both offered nothing tonight.

I'll be interested to see what's up for tomorrow night in Colorado after they got pasted tonight by VGN 7 - 0.

Yep. Good structure to their games, that relies on hustle. Minnesota did that for years and petered out in the playoffs. Fun hockey to watch.

we have said it numerous times but the hawks are not the speed-possession- transition team of 4-5 years ago...thats over...

I don't believe Q has any answers any more ,except hitting the blender . At least the team played with some heart tonight . AA up with Toews and Saad could be interesting. DBC with Kane and Schmaltz . Hayden Vinny and Hartman for a 3rd and our 4th line looked good tonight .

I agree with you the Hawks play is noth worth the price of a tkt. I went to two bad games this year and I will not go to another one unless this team starts playing on all cylinders.

When this mess of a team with these HORRID contracts misses the Playoffs I hope we can finally get rdi of the Bowmans.

It wasn't a win but overall, not terrible. Play like that every night and this team would get a lot of wins. But why isn't this team scoring? WTF with that PP??? Hartman might not be in Q's doghouse, but he's sitting on the porch of it; 7:57 TOI, ouch!
