Covid and weather. We usually get three German interns every harvest and those kids are plug and play. Most of them grew up in wineries, so they know what’s up. We didn’t get them this year.

Unfortunately we had two consecutive nights of -10 and then a foot of snow in mid October, so the vines just shut down. At that point it’s a race to get the fruit off and processed as quickly as possible.

So yeah, I’ve been a ghost for the last three months.

So just found another 3 good friends have tested positive to Covid-19, all followed proper protocol. This is in addition to my two buds in the hospital.

I feel okay (like they did), however I booked a test for tomorrow. Fuks sake.
