Just reading about Alberta’s approach to their vaccine passport thingy. It’s actually an interesting approach. If you own a restaurant fir example, if you opt to require proof of vaccination or a negative test, you can operate with no restrictions. It sounds like if you don’t want to require proof of vaccination you can still operate, but with the restrictions that we became so used to in the past year. Physical barriers, distancing, occupancy limits, earlier cut off fir alcohol sales etc.

As a business you could choose to service the market that won’t vaccinate, albeit at reduced capacity. I wouldn’t go to those places, but they should be allowed to be open as long as they are following provincial guidelines.

The Green party should just go away. I say this as a card carrying member. Surely there must be enough common ground with the NDP federally to actually have 3 parties that have a decent chance of winning every election.

Our riding has usually gone NDP, but has been flooded with Alberta's, so it is important that the voters get out and cast their ballot and make sure we don't have a Conservative get in.

It's just a crazy cycle to me. About 20-25% of the country is Liberal, pretty diehard. The conservative base is likely higher, but the rest of the voters really resent the conservatives for various reasons.



It's going to get really interesting when you start requiring 3 parties to make a new law.
