Problem is that we have citizens that don’t understand the difference between being Canadian and being American. Saw this a lot in 2020 and 2021 with protests and demonstrations. They were swept up in the whole American liberal vs conservative tug-o-war not realizing that Canada’s political system is very different to that of the US.

You see the naiveté in our threads still. It’s frustrating.
