Won't hotlink the thread. Just copy and paste...
I had stopped posting about Ukraine Nazis then you fired it back up again. I returned to HB on the 24th... I didnt post on the subject again until after you rekindled the debate on the 28th... are you going to claim you didnt mean Nazis? Here's the post one page back...
"I knew it wouldn’t take long for the Wagner Group to show up. I guess the best way for Russia to defeat Ukrainian neo-nazis is with Russian neo-nazis. what a load of poop."
Wants to talk about neo Nazis in Ukraine but you can't discuss Azov. Brings it up and then accuses the other person of focusing on it. This is comical.

What are you talking about? Are you ok?
You have been accusing Ukrainians of being Nazis since February. A month later I wanted to discuss Wagner and the hilarious fact that Russia wants to defeat so-called Ukrainian Nazis with Russian Nazis. A point that's missed by most people or just completely dismissed by some... You dismissed my comments as "Not even close..." which clearly shows your bias and motives.
You brought up Nazi's and Azov on Feb 25 @ 7:42 PM ET
https://www.hockeybuzz.co...thread_id=159675&page=166
My request to discuss Wagner's impact was sent on Mar 24 @ 9:53 PM ET
https://www.hockeybuzz.co...p?thread_id=178182&page=8
You freely accuse Ukrainians of being Nazis and are still beating that drum even though that is pure Putin propaganda. You fell for it hard. Own it Booner. |

I had moved on from it as I already shown. You brought it up on the 24th in the main thread and again on the 28th in this thread. I responded to your post on the 28th and it was you that used the term Neo-Nazis. You are contradicting yourself over and over. Your downplaying of these groups and government support of them are not hurting my position at all.
Your hysterics have you losing track of what you've said all the while you refuse to even look at the information provided... not sure what you think you are accomplishing here.

I've been both civil and responsible in the conversation. I've provided all kinds of links to the issue being discussed that contradict what you've been throwing around. In your frustration you escalated to the "nananana I cant hear you" position and started with the insults.
I only had one ban recently and that was meant to be a single day. Makita made a mistake he said. It wasn't for the civil intelligent discussion Miccah and I had either like you are suggesting. Both of us made our case, made concessions and moved on. Something you are incapable of. Again, nice try.

Those links you provided do not support your case. They support Azov's existence and that they did horrible stuff. No one has disputed that. But none of the info that you provided links the Ukrainian people or its current government to being Nazi or even Nazi sympathizers like you have suggested over and over again.
Again, you are taking a page out of the disinformation playbook by inundating the conversation with an avalanche of (mis) information. Most of it repeats itself or is totally irrelevant. Nice try though.
You are the only one who made mistakes in your assumptions even though you say you've done so much "research" and understand the situation well (the fact that you accused the Ukrainian President of being a Nazi sympathizer and then to discover he was Jewish was pure comedy). If your deep knowledge was true you would not have to go back and re-write what you originally said. That's a sad fact.
It's ok to be wrong sometimes Booner, you don't have to approach everything as if it was a back alley brawl. |

Back alley brawl. You are doing the hair pulling and biting for lack of a decent argument. I keep on track all through this.
You are incorrect about the links... Lots of the links support what I've claimed. You simply haven't looked for yourself. The Nation article with 174 source links covers a lot... you at the most, read the story and never looked in the links. From there you deny over and over.
So let me get your logic straight about Zelensky being Jewish so that means he hasn't supported Nazis. His main campaign funder is a Nazi who was Azov's biggest funder as well as two other Nazi groups,,, who also was Zelensky's former employer. He never disbanded the Nazi battalions. He credits them for being their best. He doesn't strike down legislation that supports denying Ukraine's participation in the holocaust. Azov and other groups are funded by his government. It goes on and on and covered in the links you deny.
Also let's clear something up here. Do we downplay how bad Nazi Germany was because some rich Jews collaborated with them? Let's not forget he is also an Oligarch. He was exposed in the Pandora papers for having holdings hidden away in offshore accounts. He has millions. Greedy people betray their own. The powerful exploit greedy people. History is full of it. Don't be so naïve. You have to come to grips with the idea that there are many in Ukraine that hate Russians more than anyone else. Ultra nationalists around the world are not all the same. Israel has a history of aligning themselves with some of the most brutal regimes regardless of their feeling towards Jews. Things can be complicated.
Keep trying to bait me into the insults and name calling. No one cares anymore so I don't feel victimized. It is back firing. |

So Bloated, what did you think of that video of government sponsored Azov's Nazi summer camp for kids that I posted? The investigative journalism by The Guardian? Brutal wasn't it? Putin Propaganda? Nope...from the UK. Mainstream.
That kid telling his parents he didn't want to go. He was worried they'd kill him. Told his parents they have Nazi tattoos and stuff but they assured him they all don't. The investigation team follows them through their training. Little kids with AK 47's learning to use weapons... knife fighting. Sessions of singing Nazi songs doing salutes. When The Guardian asks them about the nationalists with Nazi tattoos there they claim they don't let those people near children... followed up by the Guardian showing contradictory photographs of these people with Nazi tattoos on their necks, woman with White Power tattooed down their thighs at the camp... around the kids.
This was only 5 years ago. Azov still being sponsored by the government...
Sorry, I can't find it in past pages anymore. You probably didn't have a chance to see it then. Here's the link again. Sometimes links are blocked, sometimes not...weird.

Of course I've seen it. Anyone who has spent 5 minutes on Google looking into Azov has seen that clip.
For the love of god Booner, we get it. Azov exists and they are very bad people. But they are in the minority, not the majority. You are using a broad brush to paint all Ukrainian's as Nazis. It is a false narrative pushed as an excuse for war.
I can show you the same behavior in the US, UK, and even Canada (like Patrik Mathews and The Base).
Go ahead and continue to lap up Putin's sputnik. Enjoy.

Give it a break Bloated. I have said multiple times I don't think all Ukrainians are Nazis. You take comments like "Parts of Ukraine" and turn it into all.
It's like this... There is a part of the population that share the ideals, there is a large part of the population who don't have a problem with the Ultra nationalists and then there is the part of the population that are against it but really are in no position to do anything about it.
You can't show me a Government funded neo Nazis militia in Canada. They have classified them as terrorist organizations
Let's talk about broad strokes then. Look how many times in this thread people have been labelled as Nazis,. Total hyperbole... when presented with a real Nazi problem that Canada has supported with weapons, funding, training, access to their embassy and positive media... it's not a big deal.

You told me my claim that Canada support Azov was false in spite of me showing otherwise. How about this story only a year old... Ottawa Citizen with documents obtained through Freedom Of Information proving you are in the dark. They are caught red handed.
Canadian officials who met with Ukrainian unit linked to neo-Nazis feared exposure by news media: documents
https://www.msn.com/en-ca...edia-documents/ar-AAQrNEl
Canadian officials who met with members of a Ukrainian battalion linked to neo-Nazis didn’t denounce the unit, but were instead concerned the media would expose details of the get-together, according to newly released documents.
The Canadians met with and were briefed by leaders from the Azov Battalion in June 2018. The officers and diplomats did not object to the meeting and instead allowed themselves to be photographed with battalion officials despite previous warnings that the unit saw itself as pro-Nazi. The Azov Battalion then used those photos for its online propaganda, pointing out the Canadian delegation expressed “hopes for further fruitful co-operation.”
Lt. Col. Fraser Auld, commander of Canada’s Joint Task Force Ukraine, warned that a news article might be soon published and could result in questions being asked inside the Canadian government about why such a meeting took place.
A year before the meeting, Canada’s Joint Task Force Ukraine produced a briefing on the Azov Battalion, acknowledging its links to Nazi ideology. “Multiple members of Azov have described themselves as Nazis,” the Canadian officers warned in their 2017 briefing.
Bernie Farber, head of the Canadian Anti-Hate Network, said the Canadians should have immediately walked out of the Azov Battalion briefing. “Canadian armed forces personnel do not meet with Nazis; period, full stop,” Farber said. “This a horrendous mistake that shouldn’t have been made.”
Farber said it was also disturbing the Azov unit was able to use the Canadians in propaganda attempts to legitimize its far-right ideology. Besides its support of Nazi ideology, Azov members have been accused of war crimes and torture.
One gathering that journalists didn’t find out about was a December 2018 event in Ukraine attended by then Canadian Army commander Lt.-Gen. Jean-Marc Lanthier, according to the documents.
Members of the Azov Battalion were present, but, again, instead of denouncing the battalion’s Nazi sympathies, the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces focused concern on the possibility that photos might have been taken showing Canadian soldiers with members of the Azov unit.
Chris Henderson, then assistant deputy minister for public affairs, emailed more than 20 DND public-relations officers, worried that photos might appear online. “Do we have a clear expression of CAF policy toward this group?” he asked of the Azov Battalion. “This may or may not prompt questions, but we need to be ready and not come across as being taken by surprise.”
Jaime Kirzner-Roberts, policy director of the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center, said Canada had to make it a priority that its military personnel have no involvement with far-right fascist militias in Ukraine under any circumstances. “It’s concerning that, for the second time in a month, we have seen evidence of Canadian military officials engaging with Ukrainian neo-Nazi groups,” she added.
Kirzner-Roberts was referring to a recent report from an institute at George Washington University in the United States revealing that Centuria, a far-right group made up of Ukrainian soldiers linked to the Azov movement, boasted they received training from Canada and other NATO countries. Researchers with the university tracked social media accounts of Centuria, documenting its Ukrainian military members giving Nazi salutes, promoting white nationalism and praising members of Nazi SS units.
In 2018, the U.S. Congress banned the use of U.S. funds to provide arms, training and other assistance to the Azov Battalion because of its links to the far-right and neo-Nazis.
National Defence spokesman Dan Le Bouthillier said the Canadian military was examining its policies on the vetting of foreign troops it trains as well as the information uncovered by the George Washington University report.
He had earlier noted that the 2018 meeting with Azov Battalion members was planned and organized by Ukrainian authorities. Canadian military representatives had no prior knowledge of those who would be attending, he added. Le Bouthillier noted it was the job of the Canadian defence attaché to assess the situation in the conflict zone. “Canada has not, does not, and will not be providing support to Azov and affiliated entities,” Le Bouthillier said.
In 2019, the Soufan Center, created by former FBI agent Ali Soufan, who was involved in a number of counter-terrorism cases, warned about the connection between the Azov Battalion and white nationalists. “In Ukraine, the Azov Battalion has recruited foreign fighters motivated by white supremacy and neo-Nazi beliefs, including many from the West, to join its ranks and receive training, indoctrination and instruction in irregular warfare,” the report outlined.
The Azov Battalion has been formerly incorporated into the Ukrainian military, at least in theory, the Soufan Center report noted. But the battalion has cultivated a relationship with members of the Atomwaffen Division, a U.S.-based neo-Nazi terrorist network, it added.

NATO is a peaceful alliance. Invades Iraq on false WMD pretenses(USA/UK). Invades Afghan because their militants(Bin Laden) turned and attacked them(USA). Destroys Libya on false Humanitarian pretenses(USA/UK/France). Invades south eastern Syria and seizes their oil fields(USA). Invades northern Syria and attacks the Kurds(Turkey)... Supports Nazis in Ukraine(all of NATO almost)...
How much civilian death are NATO countries responsible for when you consider the starvation sanctions and embargoes, the insurgencies, the "no fly zone" charades, the bombing and land invasions, the coups, the civil wars that follow... but their media does a great job at keeping the focus on other nation's atrocities. Fkd up...

Equipment
▢
Saucepan with lid
▢
Large skillet
▢
Food processor
Ingredients
Burrito Fillings
▢1 cup uncooked white rice
▢3/4 tsp. kosher salt, divided
▢2 Tbsp., plus 2 tsp. extra-virgin olive oil, divided
▢3 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh cilantro
▢1/2 tsp. lime zest, plus 1 Tbsp. lime juice
▢2 bell peppers (colors of choice), finely sliced (I use orange and red)
▢1 poblano pepper, seeds and ribs removed, finely sliced
▢1/2 red onion, finely sliced
▢1 Tbsp. taco seasoning (homemade or store-bought) I use Siete brand
▢1 (15-oz.) can black beans, drained and lightly rinsed
▢2 tsp. adobo sauce (from a can of chipotle peppers)
▢1/2 tsp. ground cumin
▢6 burrito-size flour tortillas, warmed
Zesty Avocado Cream Sauce
▢1/2 ripe avocado
▢1 cup cilantro leaves
▢3 Tbsp. sour cream or Greek yogurt
▢1 small jalapeño (or 1/2 large), seed and ribs removed
▢1 garlic clove
▢2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
▢1/2 tsp. kosher salt
Instructions
Prepare Zesty Avocado Cream Sauce: To a food processor, add avocado, cilantro, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), jalapeño, garlic, lime juice, and salt. Blend mixture, stopping to scrap down the sides as needed, until mostly smooth. Set aside.
Prepare Cilantro-Lime Rice: In a small saucepan, combine dry rice with 2 cups of water and 1/2 tsp. salt. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and gently simmer for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
Remove from heat and stir in 2 tsp of the olive oil, chopped fresh cilantro, lime zest, and lime juice. Keep covered while you prepare remaining components.
Sauté Fajita Veggies: While the rice cooks, heat remaining 2 Tbsp. olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Once hot, add bell peppers, poblano pepper, and red onion. Cook 7 to 9 minutes, stirring only occasionally, until tender. Stir in 1 Tbsp. taco seasoning and remove from heat.
Prepare Chipotle Black Beans: Drain and lightly rinse black beans. Shake off excess water and transfer to a bowl. Stir in adobo sauce, ground cumin, and remaining 1/4 tsp. salt. Cover with a damp paper towel and microwave for 2 minutes, stopping at 1 minute to stir through, until warm.
Assemble and Roll Burritos:
Working with one burrito at a time, spread 1 to 2 Tbsp. of avocado cream sauce in a strip (running parallel to you) across the bottom third of the tortilla, leaving a 1-inch edge on the left and right sides so the fillings don't spill out when you roll it.
Top with a heaping 1/3 cup rice, 1/3 cup black beans, and a heaping 1/3 cup fajita veggies.
To wrap the burritos, fold the short left and right edges in towards the filling. Keeping the sides folded, fold the bottom of the tortilla (closest to you) up and over the filling. Tightly roll away from you until the entire burrito is secure. If you'd like to crisp the outside of the burrito, heat in a lightly greased skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes per side.
Enjoy immediately or follow storage instructions in notes below. |

I don’t see vegetarians listed anywhere in the ingredients.
Though, I do actually like a good bean burrito. |
