Fucking so dumb. That country needs to get over it's constitution fetish – times have changed, so should the way you think about running a country.

My GF's brother-in-law is a HUGE gun person. Mainly a collector, but he and his more liberal wife (GF's sister) are about to go through a divorce, and his Instagram feed/stories are just getting more and more extreme. It's sad, especially with him posting about the recent SCOTUS rulings. He has probably 100 guns at his place. Worry about their two young kids.

Wonder how the founding father would react if we send a washing machine back in time? How many times would that thing be mentioned in the constitution?

Sure, a lot of the sentiments are the same (though much like most things Canada vs the US, it's more restrained up north), but the political infrastructure is MUCH different, not to mention the gun/abortion/religion/racist/constitution extremism

Spent a 2 week trip to Canada and the only noticeable guns were on police officers. There was no talk about guns.
