Yup I'm voting Green as well.
- A_SteamingLombardi

lol you already have that GreenDP leader in that Jackass Horgan there in BC. In the next three years he will do more damage to BC than the Liberals did in 18 years.

And all that just to get the tolls on the bridges removed!!

Good points here. Many left when the cash cow was gone never to return. Bailed lol

But a lot of us stayed to try to make things better and contribute to local businesses and economies. This hits home for me as I could have been one of those who bailed.

I had multiple job offers in manufacturing when the Americans closed our Fire Truck Plant down. Could have stayed in the cash cow zone but chose to stay and become a municipal employee of the city and contribute that way. Going from $120,000 per year was tough down to $60,000...but I made it work.

Sometimes...we just don't need all that sh!t that we buy.

We like to take the piss out of each other but I'm convinced almost all of us are really decent human beings who actually care (not in an overly emotional "what about Subban's feelings" sense but caring about humanity). We have to be, we are long suffering Canuck fans who are use to bitter disappointment decade after decade.

Too late, the Liberals already sold the province to off shore organized crime. Why do you think we were desperate enough to vote the NDP back in after the Glen Clark debacle.

Miss that guy...

Best PM ever.

So you would rather have a redneck, church inspired, anti-women advocate, homophobic pastie faced, book burning, fascist dictator running the country.

A guy who doesn't care about the environment, employment, science based research or regulatory authority that protects companies from raping the earth or oceans unless for his own personal gains.

keep living in that bubble buddy...

It is a dark, ugly world right now. So much divide and distrust and the angry, orange clown is responsible for much of it.

Not even close.

Chretien was actually a really good PM though, made a great team with Martin(finance) despite their differences.

but what happened with all the good ole conservative conservation with the money? weren't they in charge since the dinosaurs walked around your neck of the woods? why weren't they prepared for a downturn in an industry/province that is used to boom/busts based on the price of oil?

why is it always some other reason why things go bad when it's the people we like in charge? and then when it's not, it's 1000% the fault of the guy at the top.

hmmm, kinda goes for sports too huh?

A question no one seems to be able to answer everytime there is a crash in the oil & gas industry. No one has time to answer because, as you pointed out, they are too busy assigning blame.

politics has become sports. people pick their teams and it doesn't matter what they do as long as they get elected.

if we get elected, it means we won!

Deep down I'm a fiscal conservative with a liberal heart. I strongly believe in health care and education for all Canadians equally. But that's where it ends. For me it's small government and lower taxes (both personal income and business). I have no problem with taxing goods purchased and services used.

I tolerated Harper's budget record, but his "politics" drove me crazy. Social conservatism is way too controlling and restrictive. Almost anti-democratic if you ask me.

Sorry dude, I lived it, 61,000 public service employees let go, he took the regulatory power away from Transport Canada Navigable Waters Protection Program. He fired any scientist with opposing views, I was in Ottawa and our head office had all the archived books and history thrown in the dumpster on street.

He withdrew several ministries from international programs/organizations, he openly opposed women the right to chose.

He set the country back immensely and Trudeau has screwed it up by trying to undo all the damage, too fast and too much excess the other way.

lol Harper left Trudope with over a 2 billion dollar surplus with a trending bad economy which was pissed away in less than 6-9 months.

Trudeau trying to un do the damage??

Honestly Makita I respect your opinion and moderation on here but I'm not gonna even honour that with a response lol

If you can't understand the damage that Trudeau has done in less than 4 years then seriously bro you can't be helped.

Is what it is.

Paul Martin was a finance minister, not a leader.

You'll have to think objectively and think of where the country was when Chretien took over compared to the shape he left it when Harper took over.

Harper rode that solid shape for years.
