Apparently they were planning the incident, he was hugging his trailer park GF after. What a moron.

Anyone know when Alberta will be separating from the rest of the country?

I wonder if they are smart enough to realize they will need a passport to travel and will need to apply for immigration status, if they want to move to BC, and work visas if they want to work in Canada.

Just can't make this poop up.

The Freedumb mob in the the UK thought exiting the EU would make their life better

Alberta leaving Canada would be a disaster.

Socially no.

However, any time you have to cross international borders in order to get to another part of your country it's less than an ideal situation.

True but at the end of the day, probably worth it. You can use your Nexus card to power right through it.

I think this is our most prolific thread, 200+ pages. There’s a Kings one around 6000! We have some serious work to do.

Peanut butter. My grade school best friend’s mom used to make the best ones. I should tell her.

You probably don’t get a lot of small town west coast news but yesterday (Monday) a granny got up and took her dog for a walk, and now she’s on the local news and I’m sure all over social media. I bet her kids are giving her an earful today. I’ll just say, she told a Japanese Canadian to go back to his country and spit on him…

It’s a nostalgia thing. The other “cookies” from my childhood:

My grandmothers mandelbrot, which we called komishbrot - it’s like biscotti

My dad used to make a dessert which was these simple chocolate wafers (store bought) with whipped cream - done like a log. Simple but so good!

Oh yeah, those layered waffle like cookies. You can still buy them, wafer/cream/wafer/cream/wafer

Not a fan of white chocolate, but in a cookie with macadamia nuts, pretty damn good.

I like you & Steaming, so I'm not going to let cookie choices change that in this dark world. If oatmeal & raisin cookies make you happy even if they're gross, that's ok.

White chocolate is good when mixed with dark & milk chocolate. The 'chunks' instead of 'chips' are great.

It was either that or Fattigmann which my Norwegian Grandmother made every Christmas but when my parents divorced I only got them every other year.

Is that the one that is a tower of cookie rings? Almond base or something like that. We had some close Norwegian family friends growing up and got one of those every Christmas from them. Better than Christmas Cake, that's for sure.
