Not a truck, but we bought the Nissan Ariya, it’s a crossover style SUV. We get between 600-700km per charge and it’s a joy to drive. And $40-50k less than the Tesla equivalent.

Have you camped with that kind of gear before? Seems like things work together well but I feel like it’s too convenient - as in, a lot of work to move from one space to another.

Oddly enough I spoke with someone yesterday and when I mentioned it he said he'd ordered his 18 months ago. His expected delivery is march 2025.

They're starting to trickle out now but production ramps up next year when they should have about 375K units out. I'm probably somewhere around 2 millionth on the list but I'm sure not everyone will follow through so I think 3-4 years.

It works out fine for me, I just bought an Outlander PHEV in July.
