Listened to an interesting interview with Will Hurd, former Texas Senator running for president. Seemed like a smart guy, understands how nations work internationally. If I were American I’d want to know more about his platform.

I actually respect that he answers questions and overtly states his opinions. I disagree with pretty much everything he says but at least he isn’t a marshmallow.

True true, I can agree with that. I mean, I think he's insanely opportunistic and probably doesn't even believe all the things coming out of his mouth (playing to a specific base), but he'll at least put his position out in the open for people to judge him on. No wishy washy answers.

When questioned about “woke-ism” at an event he said he didn’t actually believe in the narrative, he’s moved on from that, though he’ll still bring it up when the audience is right.
