Trump pledged to carry out the “largest deportation operation” of undocumented immigrants in US history. I don't think that will be easy and will be crazy to watch it go down.

But again, as you said, the guy is a blowhard so can't always be taken for his word. A hallmark of any great leader.

So you believe the craziness that went on letting them in, border chaos, is nothing in comparison to getting them out? Approximately 11 million illegal entries since the fiscal year of 2021, any normal person who surmise they aren't going to round up all 11 million and kick them out at the same time. I would assume they're going to go about it systematically, starting with those who've perpetrated violent crimes. I think on day one you'll see an executive order to deport these people.

Just read that Trump thinks anyone, foreign students, who graduates from college, including junior colleges, should be given a green card. Keep the brainpower in the US. I would suggest that kind of idea doesn't come directly from him, but the people around him. A welcome change!

I'm a huge fan of Quebec's Bill 74 which limits immigration. I would love it to become national legislation.

Why do you MAGA types immediately go with the "if you are against Trump, you are pro everything he's against"? It's kind of dumb.

What is a "MAGA type" and why do you insist on labeling someone with something that appears to have a negative connotation? I'm not an extreme right-wing person, I've repeatedly said I truly believe Trump is a flawed human being. I've simply put forward why I think (correctly) that he was going to and did win, and what approach he might take to some of your ridiculous generic takes. Like mass deportation. Why do you assume I'm against everything on the left or everything that Harris stood for?

I never disputed his potential for a win. Most who paid attention saw this coming.

I don't think he has better people around him. The problem with strong men is they have a tendency to surround themselves with yes men. Yes men are incompetent.

The last time around Trump had people around him that thwarted some of his craziest impulses. He's been very busy over the past four years removing any internal opposition within the republican party.

I think Trump has surrounded himself with a bunch of amateurs who won’t know what they’re doing and will have difficulty getting anything done. That happened last time and will probably happen again which works to the benefit of any country negotiating with a Trump administration.

- bloatedmosquito

Bobby Kennedy, Elon Musk and Tulsi Gabbard are definitely not yes men. Actually they were all lifelong Democrats who saw the corruption and what their party was turning into and became Trumps allies to help save democracy and the USA.

Yeah free to spew hate and false allegations to play the victim.

Meanwhile your benefactors destroy what’s left of the planet.

That is exactly what Kamala Harris's campaign ran on, it definitely wasn't on policies.

America seems to keep proving they fear Women leaders. They rather pick a criminal clown. The world watches in bewilderment.

The American people were smart enough to see through the lies of the Democratic party and the mainstream media.

The real clown ruining (I mean running) Canada will be next to go.

Harris was already vice president for the last 4 years and when asked if she would have done anything different during Biden's presidency she said "I can't think of anything"

That is why the people didn't pick her, not because they're scared of a woman leader but because they realize they would have gotten 4 more years of the same thing.

The fact that the governor made it illegal to ask for id when voting in California (Democratic state) shows the corruption of radical left government.

Tell me one good reason to pass a law like that.

Wait a minute. Didn't the Biden/Harris administration say Trump was Hitler incarnate, a fascist, a dictator and a threat to democracy? Why if he is Hitler and soooo evil would Biden congratulate his victory and invite him to the WH. Why did Harris just say she would help Trump transition to President? Could it be that everything the left said about Trump was a lie?

Nobody responded because it's a BS statement as you presented it. True, California is one of fourteen states that do not require photo ID at the election booth, but California requires voters to have a valid California driver’s license or identification card number in order to register to vote.

Are you talking Cali's new Bill 1174? If you are, then you have totally misrepresented the intent of that Bill. The Bill stops municipalities from changing voter laws that contradict State voting laws.

As for not requiring photo ID, blame civil-rights lawyers for that law if you don't like it as they are the one's who successfully argued in State court that imposing unnecessary obstacles to voter participation disproportionately burdens low-income voters, voters of color, young or elderly voters, and people with disabilities. Those minorities have a hard time getting certified photo IDs but yet are eligible to vote and can provide ID upon registration to vote.

New York is the only true “blue” state. The majority, outside of say 20 large cities, is made up of working class people who are just sick and tired of the Liberal agenda being shoved down their throats, they’ve quite simply had enough. You’re going to see the same thing happen in Canada next year, or hopefully sooner.

What’s the liberal agenda?!? Most of the developed world doesn’t operate like have and have not USA.

It’s always fascinating how many of those on top of the food chain are against taxation and social and nation building programs. Instead of appreciating their standing they want to limit benefits to only their class. How civilized of them. To the few who try to give back it’s unfortunate how little impact their efforts are on the grand scale.

There is no original thought gestating from Trump. He covets and appropriates whatever he can that will benefit his sole agenda. Yes MAGA has no type it was Reagan’s slogan.

Immigration is a both a benefit and a sore point for developed nations.

The border and security issue is well highly political in any nation that has migrants/refugees poring in from developing countries anywhere in the world. Canada is one of the rare exceptions to this issue because of its geographic location mainly though has had ship landing issues.

I would not be surprised he also uses whatever orders he gives to send away political opponents as well. It’s in the dictator handbook of not making martyrs.

Dictators can be the most blow hard type leaders so he’s got something to aspire too.

I wonder how long it will take for the pillars of the U.S. democracy to be usurped and power solidified and perpetuated in his reign. There are many examples of the pseudo democratic dictatorship. That goes through the motions of elections and other rights but are controlled exclusively by the ruling regime/class.
