I'm trying to use the best data available to me for my province primarily, also neighbouring provinces and local data. Today they announced 1 new case in Moncton, unrelated to the previous cases up north. Personally, my household is going back to phase 1. Will leave only for essentials, and probably will only have to go out maybe once or twice. We can reevaluate after a couple of weeks.

The weather is here so we can go for walks, bike rides, work in the garden etc. We have masks for use when we go out which we've been using for awhile. When there's nothing in the province we "open up" and then shut it down again based on our surroundings.

At all times we practice social distancing and wash our hands.

For me personally and i'm not really advocating this train of thought for anyone else but at first I shut everything down because we were ill prepared and had very little idea of what we were dealing with. Today we are better prepared and have a better understanding.

Although there is still plenty of uncertainty, population density undoubtably plays a large role in the speed of transmission and that favours a smaller area like ours. It's much easier to socially distance when there's space to do so. Nearly everyone has their own 1/4 acre +.

As a person who is working in a camp environment and slowly having more people brought back, it is always good to make sure the project is following and giving out the right information.
