I served his mayoral re-election team in a private room at Gotham Steakhouse back in the day. Politics is pure and utter scum. The backroom guys with their own agendas are the folks we should be scared of.

lol. So true. I hate all politicians equally.

Sam’s actually as conservative as it gets. He wants to privatize everything from healthcare to liquor commissions. He’s a socialist’s worst nightmare.

My wife and I both voted for him for that reason

Yeah, I’m not so sure, Wilson comes across as a sniveling, whiny egomaniac. I don’t think I could ever support him, they definitely need a more charismatic leader, and it will probably happen shortly after the election.

I do like some of his campaign promises but I don’t believe any of it would come fruition.

Furstenau has peaked my interest but only because she put both Horgan and Wilson in their place during the debate.

The two leading parties and both leaders suck and I’ll flip a coin on Election Day.

Wilson certainly comes across that way. I laughed when he played the doctor card. Idiot.

These days, unfortunately, I vote against something/someone rather than for someone, our political parties are all in shambles. It’s really a disgrace.

I’ve never voted NDP, federal or provincial, and never will...however, I will say this, Horgan has done a more than adequate job migrating through this pandemic after uprooting the Liberals on a non confidence vote and shamefully cozying up to the Green Party to seize power.

This is a tough one for me, every time I hear Wilson on TV I want to take a baseball bat to shut up the incessant nasal whining. But Horgan has pissed me off with, purchasing hotels and housing Canada’s homeless, pushed through site C, made ridiculous changes to ICBC, introduced a so called speculation tax, unilaterally decided to scrap all work on the Deas Island Bridge to reinvestigate more tunnels. And the final straw was calling an unnecessary election after he mandated a fixed date for future elections.

So I can understand Lefty voting Liberal and against something than for that out of touch egomaniac.

I can't forgive the Liberals for selling the province to the highest off shore bidders. The turning a blind eye to money laundrying. The ridiculously high rents in every corner of the province because houses became a hot commodity. This election was unnecessary and the NDP have made many questionable decisions but that Liberal Party is in complete shambles. I always prefer a minority gov't. I usually vote Green for a clear conscience and sometimes vote NDP to keep the provincial Liberals or federal Social Conservatives out. I do get tired of voting with a small amount of vomit in my mouth.

I agree with everyone of your points, although I think real estate market and rent increases were a part of the hot market demands, the Liberals could have implemented rent controls and not allowed the Evict, renovate and Rent increase situation.

So here we have two parties that are just as incompetent as each other, both only concerned about their parties fortunes and gaining power. Which is why I will probably vote Green and pray for a minority gov’t. I really hope this back fires on Horgan.

I always want to see minority governments. I would like them to get rid of these confidence votes as well. Figure out a way to have some middle ground with all parties.
I have always voted NDP as the principles of that party are closest to my principles,. When I tried asking the Greens for their platform/principles they laughed at me.
I can't be a shallow voter and vote for a party over one issue like ICBC, but I could see myself voting for a party, to keep the right wing parties out of power.
I have very little respect for most right wing politics.

Shameful of our PM to turn a vote on a committee to investigate the WE scandal into a motion of confidence. He's a phony and a crook.

I'll never vote for him again. I don't care who it puts in office as he's not the solution.

However, you'll have a huge pile of Liberal supporters that would chastise Harper for such an act turn a blind eye.

For the record, I've probably voted Liberal more times than I've voted for all other parties combined.

I may have cast my last vote for them at the federal level.

I vote Green federally. Last time I voted Conservative it was for Joe Clark's PC's.

That’s funny, last night I was going over my voting preferences and I voted for Joe Clark twice, then Mulroney, then Chrétien, then Martin, then switched over to Layton, then back to Trudeau, just to keep the CRAP party out.

I am really disappointed in the continuous scandals Trudeau keeps putting himself in, so it looks like I will be switching the next lame leader in Jagmeet Singh..

We really need to get the Green/NDP to merge. I'm so sick of the excuse that those parties can't win. Many policies between the 2 parties aren't that different.

ii wasn't old enough to vote mulroney which is good because i despised him. still do... and his lame ass son too.

anyway, despised mulroney. but my first federal vote was for (well party leader not mp) was kim campbell.

kim campbell was a great leader and great pm but couldn't keep together that which mulroney destroyed.

and i'll fight anyone on that point. come at me!

this is the way i feel provincially and federally.

wtf!?! why do i feel gross for voting? it's fcuked up feeling uneasy about the person/party you vote for. such a messed up system.

i have to fight myself from not voting. it's no wonder that voting turnout is low. if engaged people don't want to vote, what about the general population?

There’s a reason they’ve never held power federally, the NDP, and they never will. They’re a sidebar party that helps keep the two main parties in check, but God forbid if they should ever get in power.

When people are upset now, they vote for the two extremists parties, the socialist NDP or the fantasy world Greens. You’ve seen the NDP take power provincially in other provinces only to be removed quickly.
