Arizona has some nice pieces, but they, like a number of remaining teams, play like a group of individuals instead of a cohesive unit. Is a lot of that on the coach? Sure. That is also on the players you have on your team. At some point, if they want better results, they have to take it upon themselves to improve their own play.

The problem tonight was that Taylor Hall only played 18 minutes. He needs to play 25 minutes or more. Also, Barrett Hayton would have easily scored a couple of goals tonight. He'd probably end up on the ice for 3 or 4 goals against, but losing 11-3 is better than 7-1. Hayton better be in the lineup next game. He should be the 1C between Hall and Kessel. Play those guys 25 minutes. Grabner and Richardson should be scratched.

Let's just give that Conn Smythe to Kuemper.

It was all Rick Tocchet's fault. Kuemper had nothing to do with it. NHL playoff games are so random that anything can happen. The better team rarely wins.
