Yup and it worked out great. I don’t see the issue at all.
4 of 8 people work remote
3 work in a medical field where they are tested and wear extensive gear to keep them safe
1 unemployed.
And all are couples.
Someone in the group was sick on a Wednesday and tested negative. The couple stayed away for 2 weeks games wise.
So I am not sure how much better people we can handle covid without being completely anti social. - Sabretooth9
Just stop living. Whats the point. Of just do what these azz clowns tell you how to live. They know more than you obviously. How someone on here can tell you what you should or should not do amazes me.

It's basic common sense. There's a pandemic. There should be no gatherings of people/friends inside your homes - is that too hard to understand ? I doubt all 8 of his guests quarantined for 2 weeks before the party. Can he say that every single person in his party stayed away from all unmasked human contact for 2 weeks prior ? I seriously doubt that. All it takes is one infected person. It could be anybody ... a delivery guy, a mailman, next door neighbor, a cousin, an uncle, a co-worker, etc ...
If all 8 of those guests stayed away from ALL unmasked contact for 2 weeks prior, then I apologize. If not, then this party was a really dumb idea and exactly the kind of event that spreads this virus.

esp. when those leaders tell you not to do it, and then they get caught doing it
you only live once, I see no reason why you can't have a little fun as long as you use a little common logic
we have people over a few times a month and spread them out at 3 tables distanced outside
we had 2 couples over to watch events, my living room is 30 by 17 foot
each couple 6 feet apart
I don't see an issue living this way |

Those protests also spread the Covid and no one is denying that. Once again, both sides were morons, are morons, and the protests and rallies both helped spread this thing. Any unnecessary gathering has helped spread it. The virus doesn't care what political party you support.
The government and our leaders, from all sides, are failing and have been failing us. Repeatedly and terribly. All gatherings of any kind should have been banned. None of it was enforced.
Work, shopping and school should have been the only large gatherings allowed. Masks should have been mandated. FFS, Ohio just made masks mandatory only a few weeks ago, almost a year into this thing.
Our country is in the toilet and almost everyone has been trying to flush it even though it's overflowing with crap. No one made the right decisions. No one. - 3rd GM's the charm

And 9 months later people wonder why there are still restrictions in place, when if everyone just listened in the first place...
But again, that all starts at the top, with the lack of leadership in this country.

Different states and countries took different approaches to this thing. Some were more stringent. Others were more lax. The virus eventually took its toll in every single one of them. The only difference has been the speed at which it's made its way through the population. Once it hit our shores, the question was never "if", it was always "when". |

No I think most people understand and have been using there brain to make decisions. How many people have you seen in a store without a mask? Iv seen zero in 8 months.
But this guy is wrong for having a few couples over....... |

IF they all took the same strict measures IT 100% would have been corralled much more than it has been. The states that didn't take it seriously are a big part of why we are where we're at right now. |

I see it almost every time I go to a store and they NEVER get approached by store staff over it. When I was in NY and now in OH. |

Take a look at any of those videos from the airport the other night? Were NOT using their brains. Morons. |

That bottom 6 is pretty brutal. And poor Olofsson.
That being said, that top6 looks much better with Staal and Hall adds.
I'm hoping this is a fun year. |

i didn't really judge what he did with his little gathering...but i will say that, because this virus can spread asymptomatically, there was some risk involved...
to your broader point, I am of the opinion that people really aren't using their brains, which would be a choice to follow logic and the dictates of those with decades of experience in epidemiology or any other closely related sciences...many have been preyed upon to elicit extreme emotion, which is in direct contrast to logic |
