And yet you're still defending him. There are many closeted Botterill apologists, just like the many

We’re not. We’ve legit all said he wasn’t good.
You’re taking it to an extreme that doesn’t make any sense.
Your original post about what guys are making now vs what they were when here was flawed.
Botts wasn’t good. He also wasn’t Peter Chiarelli bad |

Did u come out & criticize that trade? - jdfitz77
I dont remember, but you can look at the record and find out. I know I waited 18 months for him to find a center while he was trading picks here and there for borderline players |

The ROR trade will ALWAYS SUCK BALLS - jdfitz77
It’s possible for two teams to make out on a deal.
I’d say both the Vikings and Bills are thrilled with the Diggs trade in the NFL this past season.
The Blues got their captain and a cup.
Sabres may have gotten a top 6 fwd, top 4 d-man, and sucked enough to possibly get their next 2C for the next 10 years.
Sabres cup window stays open a lot longer with Cozens panning out and grabbing that 2C role.
I don’t know how many years of “great to elite” level of play ROR has left.

👏👏👏
I guess that’s not good enough for him
We all need to come here day after day & say how terrible Botts was
That way he can sleep ok at night |

He drafted Mittelstadt and Cozens in back to back years.
It’s not like he wasn’t trying.
Like I said I agree with the long term vision but he bungled the short term |

I truly don't remember what I thought. Take a look and find out.
What I do remember was his inability to address the critical hole on the roster at center |

And we may miss the playoffs again this year & Eichel could ask out
IF Tage & Johnson turn out to be good...
that’s the time for u to revisit this
Doing so now serves no purpose
As of NOW- the trade sucks balls |

At least we fixed this problem.
Oh wait our big move was a LW’er which was legitimately the strong suit on this team |

Yea well blame Murray for taking Reinhart over Draisatil.
ROR would still be here.
Babcock might have even been here
That hill I’ll always die on.

😂😂😂
I see what u did there
It’s odd to me that we seem to not wanna use Singletary that much
He was pretty good last year,
especially in the back half of the season when they started giving him more work |

Cozens and Quinn both looking rusty.
Probably been Canada’s worse line this first period. |

Not sure what your watching as they’ve been in the Russian zone all period. Cozens had a point blank shot that was deflected and Quinn had a 45 ft wristlet saved. Dach has been the best player on the line though |

Cozens does not look like himself at all. He just got stripped on the PP and had all the time in the world. He doesn’t have his legs tonight at all.
But I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt since it’s the first game they have played in almost a year. |

Oh don’t worry he’ll be back for the playoffs to play once the salary cap is irrelevant.
Cap circumvention at its finest.
Tampa can stay afloat without Kucherov in the mean time in that division, especially if Stammer is back - Pegullaville
Holy poop!
Yup, sit down a top 5 player, all to just be Cap Compliant
BrisBois: Ummmm, say Nikita....so, we are going to need to schedule you for hip surgery cause we need to shelf your $9.5m Cap hit this season so we can sign Cirelli.
Kucherov: Ok, no problem Julian....do you need to maybe schedule another surgery...say heart surgery in case I heal from the 1st too fast? I'm happy to do boss.

Mitt resigned. 1 yr 874K
Which is what he deserves and earned
I mentioned this before. If mitts comes back a fat turd. Trade him immediately or this year. Let him rot on the practice squad - Sabretooth9
Welp, Kevyn Krueger is getting much better at this GM thingy...
He only overpaid Mitts by $174k |
