He earned his contract raise by completely outplaying his previous 1 year deal. All players in contract years (skimmer) and ufas put their A game together.

Larsson is the better player. I don't think there's any question there. I think you're just baiting people saying he earned his raise, and I fall for it every time. He's a good 4th liner and I actually do like him.

Everyone says they can play both wings, but few of them actually do it well when asked. When we desperately needed a 2RW the last few years, you see guys like Sobotka and Girgs do it. VO got a preseason look at RW last year, it was ugly. If he could have been a good 2RW last year, it's a much better team.

I did Eklund's 347 Division w/ 20 teams per last season...lost interest about 2 or 3 months in...was in 3rd place by then. Was fun, then just became a pain in the ass after awhile.
I did like his format though...Cap constrained, pick best roster each week.

Bass and Bjork have become irrelevant when Josh is throwing for 4 and they get another 1 or 2 TDs running.

You're right on that, but the Leafs did get nailed with a big penalty for LTIR abuse and Lupul was an embarrassing situation that they were lucky to walk away clean from. They are definitely on the abuser list, but if Kucherov is back for game 1 of the playoffs, it tops anything they did.

.94, 1.09, .93, 1.22, 1.15

Last year was a decline. The advanced stats also show regression over the last 5 years, not improvement. You're too fixated on that 12. You won't like what you see when you look deeper.

If I told you VO would be featured on pp1 and play the full season with Jack and Sam, how many points would you expect? What would Girgs put up given that opportunity? What about a legit 1LW, like Skinner or Hall?

So Blackhawks have their 1C - Toews and 2C - Dach injured and out indefinitely (well, Dach out ~4 Mo's)...so that is $11.4m on LTIR. Couple that with $4m in Cap space and they have a boat load of space to make several moves...only problem would be becoming Cap Compliant when those guys are ready to return.

Can Risto and Montour play C? Could pry their 2021 1st out of them, lol.
