Has Ryan Johnson pushed himself into the picture at LD with his performance at the WJ sooner then we expected. Not this year, but he has really progressed, funny thing is he might be a perfect partner for Risto.

Yeah not this year, but he has taken his game up a notch or 2, definitely looks like if he keeps progressing that he will be a solid Dman

Very good news indeed. Cozens plus 2 or all 3 of JJ, Quinn and Johnson would be huge for this franchise.

The Sabres say Jack Eichel is day-to-day with his upper-body injury.

Also, Linus Ullmark is still quarantining due to an immigration issue. The team expects to have him on the ice in the coming days.

Love the idea.

It is, at this point, a one-year project, but if it works, the NHL may consider making off-beat, “natural wilderness,” picturesque locations a regular occurrence. Whatever the case, this has a chance to be a special look in a challenging season.

Guess I spoke too soon about Team USA this year. After horrendous goaltending against Russia, they have 3 straight shutouts.

Everyone hopes COVID-19 stays away. And no one wants players to get hurt. But the reality is, there could be serious roster shuffling this season with a condensed schedule and world-altering virus.

That will open the door for NHL debuts. Dylan Cozens, Jack Quinn, Arttu Ruotsalainen, Andrew Oglevie, Jacob Bryson and Mattias Samuelsson will make it count, reaching the score sheet at least once. Will Borgen, who has played four NHL games without a point, will join them.

Vogel has all these guys not including johnson seeing time and getting at least 1 point this season.

Suprising the mattias samuelsson is ahead of johnson on the depth chart
